The housemates have split themselves into two teams, they must deliberate in their groups which housemate from the other group they would like to target

· Housemates have no idea that their target will have the chance to gain immunity from this week’s Annihilation

· One group pick Jayne to target, and the other group pick Andy to target

· Big Brother gathers housemates in the deliberation room, and reveals to the house that they must now give immunity to one of the two targeted housemates.

· Andy and Jayne tensely watch on from the sofas

· Housemates deliberate, and decide to give Andy immunity for the rest of the week. Andy gets upset. Jayne tells him; “It’s fine, you deserve it!”

So Andy wasn't elected to receive Immunity, BB conned them all into forcing him into immunity with Jayne. Hardly a damming indictment of his popularity is it and BB need to sort themselves out before their stupidity bites them in the bum.

The people that chose Andy know he has no chance of winning. Which means it better their odds of winning against him. Jayne would lower it. Its the classic take the hated individual to the final because you know you will win against the person.

So, are BB backtracking now?

MB.
12-07-2016, 01:59 PM
There were worse options, I guess

I don't see how Andy becoming immune automatically puts Jayne in the firing line either, but then again this is BBUK and that kind of result is pretty much inevitable anyway

Good for them....was staring to think that BB had handed the rule book to Lateysha...it's good that every now and then the housemates get reminded of who's still in charge.

This week is not about the public so we aren't in a position to question what they do in the house. It's not a normal week.

Because he, along with Jason are the only rootable ones left now. All the others suck or are dullards. Why does Jayne deserve immunuty? All she does in either do nothing or cry in the DR about wanting to leave. I for one wont miss her, and would love BB to call her out and tell her the door is open for her to leave, then you will see what a fake person she is and will beg to stay.

That's revisionist nonsense I'm afraid, there is no end to his **** stirring and a lot of the arguments and indeed the divisions are his doing, even the housemates have said so which should tell you everything!

The only truly terrible housemates this series are Alex and Sam and even then they've both brought a few things. Also it's a waste of time talking about people being 'awful people' when a) this is Big Brother, it's full of awful people, b) you have Ryan and Hughie in your sig (who I'm also fans of) so case in point, and c) who really cares about awful people (within reason, Andy's hardly on Dennis or Conor's level) on a television show anyway

Judging by the majority of positive reactions to this news I would say Andy would not have gone this week if it was normal evictions....good to know that where ever he gets it will be fair and square....some of those saved by their mates this week could very easily have been evicted by the public on Friday. They will never know for sure if they made the final because they were liked or because they were lucky.

Ok Ryan and Hughie are not bad people otherwise I wouldn't stan them, and I don't dislike Andy because he's a bad person but because he's annoying and a huge bore

I wouldn't say that following someone around, sitting next to them and constantly calling them a 'story teller' and a 'liar' for hours on end, or going off on one, walking up to people and screaming in their face is the actions of a lovely and harmless person and someone I'd want to be friends with (genuinely baffles me why people watch Big Brother looking for this) but okay

Also say what you like about Andy and that includes being annoying but he is anything but a bore considering how many arguments he's started

Hughie is flawed but that doesn't make him a bad person, tbh Andy would drive me up the wall as well but I wouldn't personally confront Andy in the way Hughie did. You can't really blame Hughie for not liking someone who called him "sick" for a harmless joke he did with his boyfriend and who said he was a disgrace to the gay community

As for your other point I can only think of two arguments that were caused by Andy, the proposal thing and the Charlie and Jason daughter drams

You can't really blame Hughie for not liking someone who called him "sick" for a harmless joke he did with his boyfriend and who said he was a disgrace to the gay community

For the record I don't think Hughie's a bad person per se, I was just trying to demonstrate how the calibre of housemates that are cast on shows like these aren't for the most part all lovely and harmless, so it's pointless talking about 'awful people'

And the 'story teller' incident came before the gay rights argument also. I get why the housemates don't like Andy, I probably wouldn't either, but housemates that are disliked inside the house are 99% of the time ones that should be liked outside! We shouldn't be giving them what they want. The fact he causes so many divisions and problems in the house is a good thing

Very glad. Apparently Jayne ranted in the diary room that she would fight for a place in the final. Whatever happened to 'I want to go home and I want to go now'?

Who wants to bet this immunity pass will somehow extend to next week's eviction too

Good plan, let's hope they're listening! :fc:

Glad he got immunity, though I am surprised he'll survive this week. Would have pegged him as one of this week's victims to be honest.

Do you guys think he will still be able to participate in the annihilation deliberations and vote in them given his immunity status?

I hope Andy goes all the way now, hoping Jason survives, but its looking iffy, but as long as there is Andy there is hope of at least getting a deserving winner.

Andy's got no chance of winning, he's not even top 5 in the odds and was voted by public as biggest gameplayer. Jason has the best chance, and if he goes this week then it's Alex's to lose

is he gonna keep it though? I mean, Ashleigh was given immunity and then Big Brother took it off of her

I think you are under-estimating him Hayden. He might have been called the biggest gameplayer with the votes, but it shows that he is a marmite character, even on here, he has just as many haters as people who support him. If he makes the final I can see him doing better then you expect.

Andy will go at some point in this week imo sadly as like Chelsea he offers something different to the table other than just sex, constant arguments, and Showmances.

And Jason will win this series, Viacom are like Ch4 and love really dull winners, Jason fits it to a tea without being completely invisible like Alex.

Well hes been up a few times now and not gone and was in the bottom half of the votes 2 weeks ago so you never know he could escape going even if he is up again next week.

His fans can still target someone else though.

With the whole "at least 3 up" rule it means votes from his fans will be split on many different people

that's sh*t  it had to be him of all people 'the chosen one' they might as well give their other golden boy Alex immunity as well

If they was smart they'd target the next one in line in the bookies and on most of the polls.

Jayne could have had immunity instead, so that doesn't make sense.
