I'm glad that people are saying what I think, too. :)
I'm good at deciphering accents and my husband often mumbles but I've never had a 100% failure rate like this!
Get him out so we don't have to bother trying!

he has nothing relevant to say anyway but being voted the least relevant, or whatever it was, will give him the idea his masterplan of acting all superior isn't working. maybe he might kick it up a notch now.

Maybe it would be seen as disrespectful to people with a scouse accent.....but my best mate is from Liveepool and he said he can't understand him either....the guy definitely mumbles and would be incoherent in any accent I reckon.
BB should sub title for his benefit and for ours.

I did wonder a while back if that could be a reason they don't show him as much....if a lot his footage is too incoherent to broadcast

Surely someone would have noticed the potential for this during the audition process? Assuming they actually carried one out!

I don't know, I can't imagine that the produces have better hearing than the rest of us....it must be being discussed as an issue.
Sometimes I have rewound the scene to try and listen again but still I don't get it.

I cannot understand anything he says and yes - sub-titles would really help. He mutters, mumbles, flatlines and thinks being there is enough contribution. The most silent and disappointing housemate. Whilst he is fairly good looking we need more than a pleasant view. However, if he featured more it would be impossible to decipher whatever he says without an interpreter. Lazy speech (he can't even be bothered to open his mouth and project) makes him an ideal candidate for eloqution lessons. I am from Liverpool originally and I cannot understand him - at all - ever...

I'm the same been complaining since the start that i do not understand a word he says but i have subtitles switched on so i can at least see what he's saying , well easy just turning it on with the remote.

Perfect - that didn't occur to me - great, I will do that. Doubt his personality improves in translation though...

I actually put the subtitles on last night and even they couldn't understand him, some random "old stephanie rogers" popped up as something he apparently said :joker:
