Which would you choose - the £5,000 and "life of luxury" or no money and basic rations/rags?
Jake.

it'd completely depend on how I thought I was being perceived by my housemates/the public... it'd probably be the £5k if I thought I had no chance of winning

I wouldn't turn down 5k, especially as I know I wouldn't win the top prize.

As its never going to happen and I wont have to face the consequences of my action. Of course I would take the money...
Drew.

Looking at it from a scenario of being in there and put in that position then 5k is a lot but I'd be too concerned it'd ruin any chances i had of winning at this stage.

No idea. Obviously I wouldnt turn down 5k right now. But in the BB house, surrounded by people I live wih in front of the nation.. No idea.

I'd take the money. It's not like you get offered £5,000 every day, plus I'd probably assume that I've got no chance of winning.

Realistically I think most people would take the money unless they think they are going to win anyway or are scared of getting fallout like Jason had. I have a family, if I was there it would be for the money. You have no guarantee you are going to win so I'd take anything I was offered or could win. Those people are people you have known a few weeks, my family and whatever I can do for them with the money come 100% first always.
Poor. I don't care about humiliating myself

Rich, I've never seen that much money in my life, however I wouldn't be in the garden the previous night saying that I wouldn't take a penny out of the prize fund :joker: and I'd stand by my decision.

Yeah I get that totally, I just don't like Alex and Jackson making out like it was an accident or they'd been lured into it with false pretences :joker:

My principles are my family. They come first and that would be well spent on them.

This. I don't think I'd trust them, especially during 'annihilation week'.
If I knew there'd be no twist to it though, I'd definitely take it.

As there would be no danger of me winning, Id take the 5k, but I would be honest about it and say that I want it to spend on me and my nearest and dearest. Dont mind anyone taking the money, just be honest about it thats all.

I'd take the money easily if I trusted it wasn't a trick or had some secret catch, I'd probably end up being too paranoid and choosing Poor instead

Rich of course, I dont suit sackcloth.
Woe betide anyone that called me out on it as well:fist: they all had the same options, up to each individual.
Poor. Cos I think the total prize money should go to the winner on merit and always have.

Totally agree! There's a lot they could have made with Spam and rice. I even saw a cauliflower and they had loads of rice, but they're probably all used to eating at McDonalds, KFC and Nandos!
