Hughie has never said he didn't want to take the money though.

His anger at Alex and Jackson was NOT because of the cash. It was because they LIED to him, Evelyn and Laura blatantly by saying they would NEVER take the cash from the prize fund.

Hughie confronted Jackson too but Jackson basically ran to another room, and he said it to Ryan too (even though everyone expected Ryan to take it).

The fact that he concentrated on Alex because he was the one who specifically said he would never ever take from the prize fund, and because he stayed in the kitchen. Jackson quickly left when they entered.

Jeez, i bet if Hughie took the 5k, the Hughie haters would be calling him all sorts. Can't win it seems.
