But if he counted the numbers in his head he could have worked out that Sam wouldn't get any votes and that his would possibly be the deciding vote and also the fact that it's clear that Laura hates him for some reason and with her out of the way it would have taken two possible votes off his shoulders. They have been at him constantly, didn't they have a kiss and make up after the last eviction where Jason explained himself and why he was distant with them because of Charlie and promising that he would be back to his normal self, and immediately they had left the conversation Laura was still sticking the knife in?


They are in the house 24/7 you would have to be pretty thick skinned not to notice who was avoiding you, giving you bad vibes etc, remember non of them are actually playing the game how it should be played, smiling in their nemesis's face and then delivering the knife between the shoulder blade, they are all playing the game as they would act out any situation in the outside world so it would be certain that he knew that Laura, as Lateysha was previously. having a strong dislike towards him.


Finally, does it matter who else voted for her? It doesn't take a genius to see that if Sam didn't get any votes, then there was 7 votes to be shared between Laura and Ryan and it would have increased the odds immensely for a Laura eviction if he'd have voted for her, without knowing for sure what the others had done.

I wanted Sam gone because I don't like him too much as a person or a housemate, whereas Ryan is a terrible person but is somewhat good value for the show.

I do think that his outfit choice was an obnoxious way of stating 'I'm not going to go home so I might just wear this bin bag to get attention without worrying about having to leave in it.' Also, his relationship with Hughie is not realy on his behalf (imo). They may be genuine friends but Ryan definitely pursued it to benefit his own popularity.
