View Full Version : Hughie Does NOT deserve to win!

Hughie hasn't anything to deserve to win.
He has serious anger problem or maybe a bit bipolar. He shouted over people all the time, he's extremely rude, and he never listens to anyone.
There are many other housemates who deserve the title more.

The hype for him is so annoying. His HL's have been 95% confrontation/whining/aggression and he doesn't know how to control his emotions. Not every situation needs an outburst, so repetitive and aggravating to watch.

All he's done is shout .... does that make him winner material ? no it doesn't IMO

I'm happy Ryan's gone. Now if Hughie just chills, he's got this (still a fan), but Ryan being there made me start to not like him!

I find the idea of someone 'deserving' to win Big Brother a bit odd tbh. Even if it's someone I don't like, if they manage to get the votes then they deserve the win, because that's what the game is

He would be a better winner than Alex and Jackson, the rest have been good HMs so any of them can win and I would be happy though Hughie winning would top a good series :hee:

I think the British public gave up their right to moan about 'deserving winners' when they voted for Helen.

That is true....there are no rules, so which ever path they take that leads to them winning means they are the winner. The only time it wasn't the case was Helen Wood.

Hughie - a housemate who has entertained the public by being himself since week 1.
Jason - a brick who did nothing all series until last week he woke up and evicted Lateysha.
Yeah think it's obvious who the deserving winner is.

I remember the likes of Brian Dowling a truly worthy winner of BB he had it all comedy.. sweet..hilarious.. impossible to look away from screen incase you missed anything...omg absolutely my all time fave winner of all time... It is very hard to pick a winner when there has not been a HM like him since...

I love him as a housemate. Theres a lot of one-dimensional characters in there and Hughie is not one of them (its completely distateful that youd describe this as a bit bipolar)

Alternatively: Hughie - a housemate who has disgusted many by his awful table manners, screaming fits and general all round awfulness.
Jason - A decent man, who kept his calm under extreme provocation and when it counted did the right thing and got rid of Lateysha.

Ive liked Hughie since day one.....
So hes got a big mouth....who in there hasn't, just because he shouts the loudest doesn't mean to say hes the worst. I like how he sticks up for himself and others and regardless of who they are will confront them. He just the type of person who, no doubt, has had to defend himself given that hes a gay traveller....and if he feels hes being wronged will justify himself, regardless of how loud he has to be to be heard....

Hughie deserves to win more than Alex, Jason, Sam, Jackson, Laura, Evelyn, and Jayne.
Basically the only one on any sort of level with him at all is Andy, the others have either been dull for too long, just rely off Showmances, or are completely unlikable.

Hughie has shown himself to be a genuine person who has allowed the public to see the real him while Jason has been a fake game player.
We know nothing about his personality apart from the fact that a bit of money and power will have him throw all compassion and decency out the window. One thing he's not is decent.

Why is vile behaviour acceptable if it's the 'real you'?

He's not vile tho. If you want to judge him by his low moments then its up to you but don't expect everyone else to as well. Hughie has dominated highlight shows without having a go at someone for weeks.

Screaming in peoples' faces and invading their personal space is vile IMO. What do you mean 'don't expect everyone else to'?
And I disagree he's dominated the HLs.

Hughie has a bit of a temper like we all do, that doesn't make him vile just because it looks bad on TV.
Hughie has also had fun in the house, and tbf from his perspective Jason does hate Laura more than he hated Ryan, so of course his gonna be like "wtf!?" at Jason's decision.

Hughie might just have sailed into the winning circle after his performance tonight in the highlights show. I have never laughed so much in my life. I dont like the side of him that is fiery and tempestous. But tonight he was fantastic as were ALL THE HOUSEMATES (Even Andy for a change) EXCEPT moanbag Jason/

Hughie is THE most FAKE actress in the house - even worse than Jackson. Ryan the Rat Boy fake and Hughie would be MADE for each other - IF their 'bromance romance wasn't just a FAKE showmance, which it is.

I mean don't expect everyone else too see his hot headed and just write him off as a vile person. He has had many sincere nice moments in the house, has been able to look back on his behaviour and apologise when he was wrong and he has also been able to have a laugh with everyone else. If you want to ignore all that and brand him as a vile person because of a small part of his personality then thats up to you but don't expect everyone else to see things how you see them.
i said he's dominating the hls what do you mean you disagree?

Yeah but none of them are decent, apart from possibly Andy, according to taste. I just feel Humphrey shouldn't win because he's been a self-righteous, needlessly aggressive, camera hogging little s*** since the minute he arrived on the show. He advocates open discussion, but he won't (or probably can't) listen to anything he doesn't want to hear. He's a grown man of twenty two, but he acts about eight years younger. It's depressing to think his antics will be rewarded. Okay, he'll piss the money up the wall by Christmas next year, latest; fine. But what sort of an example would a BB win by this petulant man-child be setting to the young people who actually bother to vote?

well thats your opinion tbh. I think hughie should win because I see him as an honest, genuine, kind person. He isn't perfect but he is someone who seems to be able to step back, think about his actions and realise and admit he was wrong. He may be a bit of a hot head but I do think he can be a bit of a reasonable person (a bit less so lately I would admit). He has a charm to him that makes him quite likeable to me. He wears his heart on his sleeve and hasn't tried to deceive the public. Because of all that I think he would be the perfect winner. Hughie to be embodies what big brother once was all about.
