He always sniggers and rolls his eyes at Jason when he talks. Glad he called him out on it. :fist:

100 % arrogant viscous little queen.

I can honestly say he is the only housemate I have consistently despised from day one....some I've always liked, some I've blown hot and cold with, some I've not liked but found funny at times...but Sam is a total snide.

His lack of respect for Jason on more than one occasion has made my blood boil....and I would think the same even if I didn't like Jason....he's contemptable

Rolling his eyes and darting looks to his liitle gang of plebs looking for them to back him up because he is too much of a wet arse to do it on his own.
How is he even still there?

Yes !! He wasn't reacting normally in any remote sense of the word and Jason wasn't acting aggressively, he was finally raising his voice, thank god, like every other person in there has done since day one..

But of course they're allowed to raise their voices, but Jason isn't. Good thing he stood up for himself. I clapped :clap1:

That's why I prefer the lads. They're friends with Jason and Andy and they enjoy hanging out together. Except Sam who is a twat.

He doesn't usually shout when he argues unlike Hughie and you can't deny his shouting voice does have a threatening, aggressive tone to it

Some would question that. But she also always thinks she's with the cool kids, that's why she supports Lateysha's gang. I don't think she's ever woken up to the cold reality of these snide cool kids people she always associates with.

Not sure what you're on about because her fav is Jayne who I wouldn't exactly describe as a "cool kid" but ok.

The Beard With 4 Faces - The Screaming Queen Trapped In Odd Bod From Carrying On Screaming's Body - and his ignorant interruptions of Jason with his little-girly-whirly giggling deserved a slap.

Im indifferent towards Sam. And yes, he shouldn't have piped up during Jason and Hughie's exchange.

But let's put it into perspective. It's already late in the evening, following what has probably felt been a long and exhausting day after a task and then followed by the eviction. BB decides to have an awards show right after that only adds to the stress level of the housemates, with the intention of stirring the bad blood among some of them. They can't leave the couch area until BB says they can, and the ceremony can't move on to a different category until the HM's have all given their answers and, apparently, until they stop talking altogether. The HM's are tired and just want to get through it so they can finally go to sleep and put an end to the day. But then you have Jason/ Andy arguing with Hughie, putting the awards ceremony on hold until one of them ends it and they can finally move on. The rest of the HM's can't do anything but wait until one of them stops, and so Sam tries to play peacemaker in an attempt to get things going for the sake of everyone else.

Again, Sam shouldn't have done it. But give. The circumstances somebody had to say something to keep it moving along, otherwise they would have stayed on that couch till God knows when.

Sam has pulled Jason up on more than one occassion for not speaking up...Jason was speaking up and he tried to shut him down. Good for Jason for shutting him down and pulling him up for it.:cheer2:

The debate was what BB wanted. I'm sure if Sam had watched someone call him all those awful things he would have had a lot to say too..

This is a more reasoned interpretation of events. The looks on the faces of all those housemates not involved in the argument showed they were feeling very uncomfortable about the tone of the dispute and the atmosphere it was creating. Yet it was only Sam who had the guts to try to address it.

I don't see how Sam did anything wrong- he was trying to calm things down and ease the tension everyone was feeling. Had Alex said the same as Sam did, I doubt anyone would be making such a big issue. In fact, it is hardly unusual for someone to say something like that when disputes become heated.

I think Sam is always dismissed and judged too harshly. No, he is not perfect, but he is still very young. Yet, he has shown maturity in his ability to discuss issues in an intelligent, calm and productive way, in order to achieve a resolution- for example, his discussion with Andy about the nomination.

Jason did not have to respond in such an aggressive and dismissive way, and could, in fact, have handled that better. I'm not surprised that Sam was taken aback by Jason's response.

I recognise that very few others will agree with my views, and that I'm likely to receive an onslaught of negative responses for sharing them. However, I think that Sam gets a rough deal, and that someone needs to stand up for him.
