Older housemates

This year has been a great example of the value of older housemates.
Who agrees and would you like to see more older housemates if we get another civilian bb, we'll sort of civilian as most have links to TV.

Love like or hate Jason, all will agree that him being in the house has made this series unpredictable and has kept this forum active.

All the older housemates have been the best,what have the others done? the older ones have more depth and aren't shallow like the rest, hell even Chelsea had some funny moments

It's always been the case as well, I'm not sure why the focus has been on casting the younger Love Island wannabes so furiously :shrug: Derek, Lesley (BB8), Carole, Jemima, Jackie T, Lisa (BB10), Mario & Lisa, Belinda, Shahbaz, Susie, Ahmed...

And this series' of course have all been at least "entertaining" (Chelsea, Jason, Jayne, Charlie, Natalie)

Only oldies that bored that I can recall were Sandy, Jonathan (BB8) and Steve (BB11)

The older housemates this year have been remarkable in lots of ways not least in their ability to tolerate and adapt to the younger ones tick on the world. And Vice Versa too, with the exception of Lateysha, the young ones have all looked up to and accepted the older ones in there as well. Been a good house I think in general.

They needed them for sure. They need to fill the house with people who probably wouldnt be mates on the outside. Theres no point putting six models in there to inevitably befriend each other around the make up table. Thats boring. I dunno why c5 took so long to work this out.

Jayne, Jason, Chelsea and to an extent Natalie (purely for her rivalry with Jayne) proved that older housemates are a lot of the time, way more entertaining, than the brain dead Towie types, we need more of them.

Yes Chuff at least 'Billy Big Bollocks' made us chuckle and was gracious on leaving not like the younger ones who have been totally vicious and nasty because they couldn't get the older ones out no matter how they tried , and none of the older ones have thought they had the divine right to win.

a broad mix of people to best reflect reality usually works best. and they need to knock off all this taking on people as housemates just because they've already had some media exposure. bring the reality back to big bruv, init? :hehe:

This is partly what makes Celebrity BB more interesting as we see better balance in the age difference.

I much prefer watching older HMs, cause they have much more to say cause of there life experience, this is why I think this series has been so good cause older the HMs have stayed longer than a lot of the younger HMs.

I think a lot of his 'Gangsta chat' was done a 'bit tongue in cheek', even so he did make chuckle as well, and he was a gentleman about his awful eviction.
All the older housemates have been great this year, even the ones I have not been a big fan off, ie Natalie/Jayne. :dance::dance:
