View Full Version : Aubrey O’Day No warning?
Why didn't Aubrey get pulled into the DR and warned after throwing food all over Bears bed?
In fact didn't she already have a final formal warning way back when she spat in bears food
..(the only thing I can think...)..?..is that a warning wasn't given for what Bear did to her with the pie so they thought, hang on here..we're being scrutinised for favouring Bear so we won't warn her and that'll be fair...?...(that'll hush them up/the public..)...but then he threw the tomatoes and they thought hang on, we need to get some discipline in this classroom and with these children or at least be seen to be trying to....
...honestly Josy, is this the time in the morning for sensible answers to this......

Bear, Lewis, Aubrey...yet Biggins was removed for some crass remarks, the show is nonsense now, they don't even go to the DR when called, HMs have no respect as they know the warnings won't be enforced

I missed little bits last night, wasn't it Bear who put the tinned tomatoes on someones bed? Did Aubrey also throw food? maybe BB thought it pointless as there have been so many warnings this year and they never follow through on anything,it's a bit like parenting, this is why the show has gone downhill so much, there is no discipline .

..it's all Simon Cowell's fault, Cherie ..in his 'no publicity and moment in the lime-light is bad publicity or a bad thing'....now all we get are housemates who can't wait to be called into the DR for warnings and getting one to one with the public, me time....

..(the rough series of events..)...when they were all lined up to custard pie Katie and Bear as they'd been asked to by BB..Bear ran up to Aubrey and pushed her pie in her face..so later she threw the remaining small prize pies..(jeez, the sentences we type in on season..)...onto his bed and then he got the tomatoes and threw those onto her bed....a huge assault on beds took place...

Warnings are so pointless these days anyway its not surprising. Would have been nice to see her getting told off the same as we saw happen to Bear though, if not about the bed at the very least about her being physically aggressive during the row. But nope. But this is not allowed to be mentioned due to Bear having bad behaviour at various points in the show..even though he gets spoken to it about every time, even for goading and throwing food :D

..but has he ever had a last/final warning though, I can't recall...but Aubrey has for the spitting thing so there would have been no alternative other than to eject her really, which would mean huge re-arrangements for their final which includes 6 housemates, not 5....it really is like a house of children and BB the parent who is screaming 'I won't tell you again' for the 789687th time ....(and the children thinking, yeah mum/dad doesn't mean it, they never do anything anyway so let's carry on..)...

Which is ****ing pathetic. Final warning for wasting food..on big brother where such a large part of the show has been about **** like this. BB5 was full of it especially. bb7 I believe all the food was spoilt and some thrown in the pool, even on c5 BB it was allowed to let someone damage someone elses personal property with food colouring and stuff while someone punched the crap out of the entire shopping budget once it had been delivered also. This 'warning' over wasting food stuff is bloody ridiculous, and if THIS is the kind of warning Bear has actually had 20 or whatever was claimed of, then IMO it doesn't actually class as a warning. Of his 'talking to's I have seen, the only deserved ones were smashing the mirror and pouring the oil. The rest have been for stuff that has never before been 'told off' for in BB. Its just stupid and they are undermining themselves by going on the way they are too tbh, no wonder everyone just ignores BB when they shout now

Its almost like the entire pie thing was setup by BB last night isn't it...

They would never eject anyone this close to the final IMO. Unless it was really really needed, eg. if someone went totally mental and stabbed someone else.

Indeed. We have spent a stupid amount of money and haven't really been out much either. We live in the middle of nowhere so its 12 quid for a bus before you even factor in the odd icecream and drink or something. Sounds like nothing, but all adds up over time D: Cost us 100 quid on Sunday to take them to the metrocentre for a sunday roast and a couple of hours in soft play..

I really think people remember the older BBs as tame. I mean, I was reading older threads last night and while Aubreys spitting was gross...people seem to forget we had Maxwell feed Science (?) a SCAB and not be removed for it.
BB5 and 6..and 7 at times would have had endless warnings and a fair few chuckouts if BB was to give out warnings/ejections for everything that people call for a warning/ejection for these days too. I mean, imagine a Kinga situation on BB today..

There was a fair bit more than just pie put all over Bear's bed.
However, why not just go and throw something over him outside or when sitting, rather than trash a bed.
It shows the really rotten thinking she has,
Renee was no better, at her age she should have stopped her doing that.
However yes, bear gets a talking to, Aubrey gets nothing, then he makes a wind up comment that gets the reaction from Aubrey, who then goes into an almost hysterical tirade of abuse to him.fair enough he can take that easily.
Then she blocks his way, insults part of the viewing British public, and makes an aggressive move to him.
Playing in to his hands,as he could then raise his hands in the air and expose her aggressiveness.
She is called to the diary room at least twice from what we heard and totally ignores it, just carrying on as she was.
Then eventually at another call to go the diary room, she finally does, only to be left there sitting shouting off her opinion and abuse again with a totally silent BB representative.
The woman is vile,absolutely vile.
She was for sure going to smash a pie in Bear's face anyway,he just got there first and got hers in her face and it is for me a pity another wasn't there to shove in it once she started spouting off.
However with so many tensions in that house anyway, one has to question the thinking of BB to set up that pie incident in the first place.
It seems BB also wants to 'create' tensions and problems where none need to even be.
Clearly BB learning nothing at all about these housemates and their volatility.
..I think that we can probably all agree that it's been a pretty bad series when the main debates/so many of them... have been whose behaviour has been the lesser awful ....

They didn't show him playing a deliberate prank on Sam which resulted in an eye injury.... he was given a final warning a week ago for wasting food which also belongs to the other HM's, and since then he has wasted more food on 3 different occasions.
Last night he broke the rules not once, but 3 times. He ate the cakes which were for the winners only; he didn't take his punishment but shoved a pie in Aubrey's face instead; he put tomatoes on her bed.
He was also the one who provoked the argument between him and Aubrey by goading her when they were making the beds.
He's getting off extremely lightly. Another little hand slap in the DR for their favoured winner. :suspect:

That was her first instance of wasting food to effect someone, whereas Bear has had multiple talkings to about it because he's made it an actual issue through the entire series, I'd imagine that's probably why.

Aubrey broke the rules when she trashed his bed so no way should Bear have been the one being reprimanded when he retaliated and did the same thing to hers.
And when she got in his face and threatened him she should def have been made to look bad like BB made Bear look bad again for making "idle " threats to Renee. Threats that came after and were far less offensive than when Renee threatened to have his jaw punched to the back of his head.
A lot of people are blind cause they're not able to look at the reality of the situation in an impartial way due to their dislike of Bear.

Food fights are different to using and wasting food to get at people by being a destructive little ****, food fights are consensual acts of fun that people get involved in to have fun together, Bear has just been wasting food non-stop in order to get under people's skin, it's not comparable to food fights whatsoever.

No there has been no precedent for his specific behaviour, that much is true. I still disagree with the warnings though..well not the warnings as such, but labelling it a 'final warning'. They should really practice what they preach and not do specific food wasting tasks. If I was slightly more cynical I may think that the whole 'pied' as punishment was a setup for exactly what happened
Along with disagreeing with the warning though, I also think they need to start backing up these 'final warnings', if they really deem breaking eggs to be a chuckout offense, act on it. This lack of discipline from the production is shocking, BB should be the voice of authority. It is their fault that people ignore them. It has been getting progressively worse over the years it has been on c5 too..its not even just about this food/Bear thing either. The endless breakouts in the recent civillian BB series..if they had just had the balls to kickout the people who broke out once it became clear that it was just a running ****ing joke..it would have ended it all. Instead they let it go on for ages then kicked out ONE housemate (though tbf it was her second breakout) and let others continue to do it.
There are so many things wrong with BB today, and I really feel many are getting too wrapped up in how much they hate/love Bear to discuss things properly right now..its near to the final, I get it. Once the series is over hopefully the problems can all be discussed without accusations of bias from either side.

Most days? Honestly I can recall a total of about 3 times that it's actually happened. Who cares whether it's food fights or what though? The point is that it's still technically wasting food but the only reason that Bear got warned and nobody has previously is because of how the other housemates were reacting towards it.
They had permission off BB to pie housemates in the face so BB couldn't give bear a warning for it now could they ?

Aubrey had her chance to pie Bear but she wasn't quick enough for him. I can understand her rage, but there's a massive difference between pieing someone and trashing their property. The latter is unacceptable. By your rules he should have been allowed to spit in her food/drink after she did it too. Bear spoke about it after to Aubrey whilst they were making the beds because he was obviously pissed and it was on his mind - that didn't entitle her to get aggressive with him. If she'd been able to control herself then the whole situation wouldn't have gotten out of hand.

Most days? Honestly I can recall a total of about 3 times that it's actually happened. Who cares whether it's food fights or what though? The point is that it's still technically wasting food but the only reason that Bear got warned and nobody has previously is because of how the other housemates were reacting towards it..
You've either missed episodes or you are being deliberately obtuse.
What hypocrisy you ask? BB's hypocrisy with them being ok to throw food, but not others.
I assume you didn't read my post - it's all in there.
You said:
It was ok for BB to say let's punish Bear and Katie with MORE custard pies in the garden.
But as soon as Bear does the same thing - he gets 'told off'
BB hypocrisy once more
How is it hypocritical for Bear to be told off when he broke the rules by eating the cakes and not taking his punishment? I don't understand?

You put this perfectly. :clap2:
Aubrey had her chance to pie Bear but she wasn't quick enough for him. I can understand her rage, but there's a massive difference between pieing someone and trashing their property. The latter is unacceptable. By your rules he should have been allowed to spit in her food/drink after she did it too. Bear spoke about it after to Aubrey whilst they were making the beds because he was obviously pissed and it was on his mind - that didn't entitle her to get aggressive with him. If she'd been able to control herself then the whole situation wouldn't have gotten out of hand.
I can see that Bear's liking for little digs at people has rubbed off on you. I thought Aubrey spitting was disgusting, so put that in your little goading pipe and smoke it.
By the way, the bedclothes are not Bears property, they are BB's, and there are plenty more where they came from. I think it is just as bad, if not worse, to ruin a girls make up (which is her property) and hair just after she has had a shower and got herself all dolled up.
It takes longer to shower, wash hair etc than it takes to strip a bed and put a few fresh sheets on. Get your priorities right. :smug:

The hypocrisy i refer to is when it is ok for BB to throw food (the pie task) or tell other HMs to throw food (the pie punishment). But when Bear does it off his own back - he is told off. That's the double standards.
I'm sorry you are having trouble understanding that.
As for Bear breaking the rules and not taking his punishment, there is no hypocrisy there, just him mucking about.

Oh do you understand MY take on it only too well? I'm glad you do - finally - after me having to explain it to you twice. :joker:
Was Aubrey mucking about when she trashed his bed? No she took it a stage too far. It was only mucking about when the pie she was about to throw at him got thrown at her first. But that was all in the name of the game, the pie throwing punishment that BB set up after BB had thrown pies at HMs all morning.
BB never trashed HMs beds, nor did BB ask HMs to trash each others beds, BB just chucked pies at them in the DR and set up more pie throwing in the garden. Aubrey took it to a more serious level by trashing his bed, but she got away with it. Bear however didn't get away with it when he retaliated - hence...........
BB hypocrisy!

Why didn't Aubrey get pulled into the DR and warned after throwing food all over Bears bed?
In fact didn't she already have a final formal warning way back when she spat in bears food
I thought so too BB should be fair to everyone and not just warn or punish one person for doing the same thing as another housemate did

For as long as they are in the house - they belong to Bear. It's the principle of it. Renee also trashed his own property (putting gel in his shoes). They don't understand what crossing the line is. If Bear had gone and emptied all of Aubrey's make-up into the bin that would be a different story. He flipped a damn pie into her face, the overreactions are what it should have been like when she spat in his food/drink, but he 'deserved it' apparently.

The spitting incident was met with disgust from all sides but what took the edge off that was when he asked her and let her spit directly into his mouth.

Examples?
I find it funny that the only defence there is to Aubrey's spitgate is that 'Bear obviously didn't care so why does it matter?' Is that really seen as acceptable behaviour just because the recipient isn't bothered by it? However, even before that there were still many "he deserved it"s going around, which I think is pretty low.

They used to have food fights all the time on the show. No one has ever got in trouble for it. It's ridiculous! Big Brother is way too pc these days. Do they want them all sitting down drinking tea?
Food fights, if you like that kind of thing, are probably okay if they're consensual. But they're not so good if, as Stephen has repeatedly tried to do, you're attempting to weaponise the coffee, eggs, etc, etc. If it's the equivalent of a three year old smearing sh*t on the wall, or a caged chimpanzee flinging its dung about.

Of course he did ,all the yanks voted for each other in most of the sections ,and Ricky tagged along with them (of course) Aubrey got voted prettiest and no way on Gods earth is she prettier than Marnie who's a natural beauty who doesn't spend 20 hours a day applying layer after layer of slap on her face, she's not had her lips pumped to the max, she doesn't wear plastic hair ...she doesn't need to
