Very strong opening night for X Factor tonight. Simon's obviously listened to a lot of the criticism the show received last year and has totally made the right changes. The panel has much more chemistry, the rooms are brilliant and it actually feels like X Factor again. Those new titles as well <3 - SHOP's talents know no bounds.

Xtra Factor Live was also fantastic - Rylan and Matt are absolutely the right pairing and, again, there's a lot of chemistry between them. The balance of content was brilliant, the set looks good and it just feels right. Sure, it's a BOTS clone, but it's actually better than what BOTS has become.

A very strong opening night all around - I can't wait to get stuck into the rest of the series!
