Not really paid proper attention to a series since Season 4.

That's the best series of a talent show ever imo.

The first premiere episode was rubbish, the second had more hope though.

Billy Gilman is the one to beat this season. He's had previous success so already has some kind of fanbase and made #21 on iTunes. My faves so far are Billy and Brendan Fletcher.

Great group of coaches too :clap1: Miley is the best female coach already. Blake and Adam are amazing as always. Not sure about Alicia yet.

As for this season I haven't been blown away by anyone yet. Billy is the best but he's not my type really. The girls so far have been the worst they have ever had. But there's still a bunch more blind auditions to go.

I haven't watched a full season before and I'm only watching this because of Miley and Alicia :laugh: , so caprimint is the one to ask.

Successful in a television show way, they love it and it constantly wins awards, whereas we just didn't take to it, we had X Factor, it was the other way round for them. But once the show is off air, no The Voice contestant has gone global or had amazing success really. They're more cult figures that just release music whenever.

I dunno, they usually switch alternate seasons like these judges would do S13/15 next etc, then the others would come back for S12/14 but it's so messy now as there have been loads of different panels. :omgno:

It honestly feels like a whole different show to the UK version. :flutter: I think the UK coaches lacked chemistry, entertainment and relevance to some degree overall.

The panel that is generally seen to be the worst on the USA version was the Cee Lo/Xtina one (apparently she was quite bitchy during her earlier seasons) and I didn't rate Pharrell much either (he just seemed totally drugged up last season and disinterested and screwed over a few of his contestants with awful song choice, unintentionally).

I liked Karlee and Josh from last night's episode. Elia was good as well, lovely voice but needs to sing in English if she wants to get anywhere in the competition.

Bindi was okay but a little boring and Lane wasn't good at all.

Yeah I don't think it's the strongest season either, probably the only one where I haven't had an initial standout fave. My current favourite is Josh Gallagher and there are a few other good contestants but no-one that I'm particularly passionate about.

Now that all the blinds are over with I can officially say that I am done with this season. I didn't care for any of these people which is sad since I watched every episode to date. Oh well maybe next season will be better.

I thought the song choices last night were really poor overall. Miley is going down the Adam route with her wtf song choice for Darby/Karlee but it weirdly worked (like Adam's usually do). I'm glad Karlee got stolen too! Aaron/Sa'Rayah was the most overrated battle of the night. :umm2: I'm also really happy Josh Halverson got stolen, he's got such a cool voice and his facial expressions are brilliant.

I didn't like her performance this week :( It didn't have any falsetto which is where I think her strength lies. She isn't really a 'belter' type of singer.

It wasn't particularly well-received, but then she's polarizing so she could avoid it.

Sundance and Billy were two of the most consistent acts throughout so I think their top 2 placements were well deserved. The finale order went exactly as I expected it to (after seeing the finale performances).
