Not really paid proper attention to a series since Season 4.

That's the best series of a talent show ever imo.

The first premiere episode was rubbish, the second had more hope though.

Billy Gilman is the one to beat this season. He's had previous success so already has some kind of fanbase and made #21 on iTunes. My faves so far are Billy and Brendan Fletcher.

Great group of coaches too Miley is the best female coach already. Blake and Adam are amazing as always. Not sure about Alicia yet.

I find her amazing. I'm glad she picked Miley Miley is hilarious, Alicia is a good coach tbh but Miley beats her. Adam and Blake are hilarious too.

Courtnie was cool, she's got a lot of potential but she didn't chart very well. Idk if it was just song choice though.

Adam and Blake's chemistry is priceless

As for this season I haven't been blown away by anyone yet. Billy is the best but he's not my type really. The girls so far have been the worst they have ever had. But there's still a bunch more blind auditions to go.

How different is this to the UK Luke/caprimint/anyone else? I've been intrigued about how successful the US version is while the UK one hasn't really taken off

I haven't watched a full season before and I'm only watching this because of Miley and Alicia , so caprimint is the one to ask.

the talent is better and the coaches have more personality,

Successful in a television show way, they love it and it constantly wins awards, whereas we just didn't take to it, we had X Factor, it was the other way round for them. But once the show is off air, no The Voice contestant has gone global or had amazing success really. They're more cult figures that just release music whenever.

Yeah I'd say it's very different. The show has an element of excitement about it and that's to do with a few things - better talent, more variety and I think generally better choices are made of which contestants to advance. The judges have awesome chemistry and seem to really make an effort with their artists.

Wow you're super lucky! Did you get to see her perform as well?
Yep she performed with Martina McBride and some other people. She was phenomenal better than anyone that night!
