Wouldn't worry too much - the twist will be abandoned after a week.
Pairs has been done frequently around the world, especially over the last couple of years - though it's usually HMs paired up on arrival. In most cases it begins with nominations and evictions being done in pairs and then switches towards an individual game towards the end.
Based on recent C5 series considering how short they are and how they start with 16-18 HMs anyway they could still evict in pairs for most the series anyway. Might actually benefit the show as numbers will reduce quicker and the game change more from week to week.
They could start with 18 housemates, eliminate one pair a week until four pairs remain, then split and play as an individual game, but be told that if they make it to the final 2 with their partner they would get a double prize fund?

It'll be 'make it up as you go along' methinks.
As usual.

Are they looking for some wife swappers this time? Well there's nothing else left to do.

I personally hope they wont be evicted as pairs.
As in pairs do everthing together, nominate and be nominated.. but then they face the eviction separately. If one half of the pair leaves, the other can carry on alone.
Maybe if a duo makes the final together, they should be allowed to win together though.

pairs work like this, you can get nominated as a duo, so if you want to evict someone you'd have to evict the other hm in that particular duo as well
it is interesting to see how many twists will be in this series :hee:

As others have said, pairs never last long internationally.
Australian Big Brother in 2014 had a huge marketing campaign making a big deal about how they would be going in as pairs (they actually came up with this nifty promo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmhrjiQvJW8)) and the whole concept was abandoned after a week when it turned out the pairs only existed for a week-long task in the first week.
