Trump's migrant crackdown: The President will start building Mexico border wall TODAY -and is set to BAN people from Syria and six other 'dangerous' Muslim countries from entering America by signing executive orders

Trump is set to sign executive order enacting his campaign pledge to build a wall along the American border with Mexico
Other executive orders are expected to temporarily close US borders to most refugees
One order reportedly will block visas from being issued to citizens of Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen
Restrictions likely to include months-long ban on admissions from all countries until government agencies can boost intensity of vetting process
During presidential campaign, Trump promised to issue temporary ban on Muslims entering the US

You boys must be so excited!

Truth is, most of the wall is already there. Since the 90s annual border control funding has been set at around $19. billion. 700 hundred miles of that 1000 mile wall Trump has bragged about building, is already built.

No my
CEO is in America for 6 Months,
but good news
he will be back in China after that.

I have spoken about these methods before
that are not on UK TV.
also they are not on the sad bbc.

I am hoping once they have details
of Security Essential Contracts
they will first go on a Exclusive UK TV ch.
6 hours before USA and China.

The Simple Warning is

which is used all the time in USA Security.

President Trump has all the plans

But I can say these are in the pipeline......

DR go on Live USA TV, if you get time
they are showing maps of this Solid New Wall
that replaces current fence/walls etc.

Of course there is a border there already
but Evil Drug Gangs are digging under it
or chucking bags over it
also on Docus and News Ch USA

They will no longer get through at that Zone
that is the reason he is building New Big Wall.

DR
lets watch it being built on Ch4HD Docu
and BBC Panorama Docu (shown world wide
on BBC World News - now broadcast
overnight on UK BBCnewsHD)
both will be there Filming under conditions
from USA Border Force

Authoritarian leaders are known for re-shaping the truth with the intention of separating the believers from the disbelievers.
We know that around 160,000 people turned up for his inauguration but trump bragged that he enjoyed the largest crowd in inauguration history. We also know that it rained throughout his speech but he’s told the world that as he stood up on that podium the rain stopped, the sun came out and it didn’t start to rain again until he’d finished.

He’s not doing this because he’s stupid, he’s doing it because he’s a smart guy with a huge ego and a master plan.

Trump was supposed to meet Enrique Peña Nieto later this month to discuss NAFTA and other issues. Today, he added a new precondition to talking; he tweeted: " If Mexico is unwilling to pay for the badly needed wall, then it would be better to cancel the upcoming meeting."

Oh and... a convoy of produce trucks loaded with 15 tons of avocados was refused entry to the U.S. at a Texas port of entry. Evidently, Trump has already ordered that Border Patrol agents should not honor the NAFTA agreement. After being turned back at the U.S. border, those trucks drove to an airport in Mexico, and the avocados were flown to Canada.

It is very obvious that Trump is now starting a trade war with Mexico. President Pena Nieto had previously extended an invitation to American oil companies to sell gasoline in Mexico, in competition with the government-owned monopoly oil company Pemex. We can probably now expect that invitation to be cancelled.

Donald Trump’s proposed border wall could face a major obstacle in Arizona, where an indigenous tribe has vowed to oppose construction on its land, paving the way for potential mass resistance following the model of Standing Rock.

The Tohono O’odham Nation, a federally recognized tribe with a reservation that spans 75 miles of the US-Mexico border, announced on Thursday that it does not support the wall and criticized the White House for signing an executive order without consulting the tribe.

That makes interesting reading and is likely to have a significant affect on his plans. Can't imagine how he will negotiate his way round this one. He should have done his homework first and, at the very least, had some discussion with them first. It will be interesting to see what happens.

My guess is he'll still build the wall but leave them on the Mexican side.

Then he would either have to gift that land to Mexico (which again I think would be practically impossible without the tribe agreeing to it) OR it would open up a potential loophole, where if a Mexican family was to set up home within that land an have children, that baby will have birthright citizenship in the US. To stop THAT from happening he would need to alter the US Constitution (never going to happen).

I wonder if Theresa will take a break from being a spineless waste of space and stand up to this now that one of her own MPs has been banned from entering the US? (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/tory-mp-discovers-donald-trumps-9713829)

Highly doubt it. Any so-called 'values' will be thrown under the bus if there is even a possibility of a post-Brexit trade deal.

A federal judge in New York blocked deportations nationwide late Saturday of those detained on entry to the United States after an executive order from President Trump targeted citizens from seven predominantly Muslim countries.
Judge Ann Donnelly of the U.S. District Court in Brooklyn granted a request from the American Civil Liberties Union to stop the deportations after determining that the risk of injury to those detained by being returned to their home countries necessitated the decision.

and http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/judge-halts-deportations-as-refugee-ban-causes-worldwide-furor/ar-AAmlFFZ?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartanntp

Minutes after the judge’s ruling in New York, another came in Virginia when U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema issued a temporary restraining order to block for seven days the removal of any green-card holders being detained at Dulles International Airport. Brinkema’s action also ordered that lawyers have access to those held there because of the ban

Green card holders, duel citizens of places like Britain. Five year old kids, law abiding people with established, legitimate lives in the US, targeted.

When an Iraqi translator for the US military ends up in hand cuffs coz the rules changes mid-flight, and Congressmen have to step in to help him, something is very, very wrong.

Lots of ifs and buts, but do you want the West to be held to ransom like that - too scared to act for fear of reprisals - that plays right into the terrorists hands. They thrive on creating fear and we cannot play their game and be intimidated by them.

They will continue to commit terrorist acts until they get their way and create an Islamic West and unless you are prepared to give in to that you have to accept it is going to continue wall or no wall. To minimise the effects we have to make it harder for those from the outside to get in.

Jewish groups weren't thrilled with the timing of Trump's actions:
Washington (CNN)Many organizations that advocate for refugees slammed President Donald Trump's executive action Friday imposing "extreme vetting" on those fleeing to America, among them Jewish groups that took particular exception to the day on which he signed it: Holocaust Remembrance Day.
"It's repulsive," said Mark Hetfield, president and CEO of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to resettling refugees in the United States. "I mean, the timing is incredibly offensive."
"It was during the Holocaust that the world shamefully refused to give asylum to Jews and to others who were being murdered or about to be murdered in Nazi Germany," Hetfield added, referring to the US government's decision to turn away European refugees during World War II.

It doesn't change a thing, you're bringing emotions into a discussion about facts because you can't argue with the said facts.

If you wish to generalise threats in America then why aren't you campaigning against socially awkward white teenagers since they are more likely to kill people en masse in the US than a Muslim is. Domestic terrorism IE school shootings, attacks on abortion clinics, other types of mass shootings in public places are more common than a terrorist attack from a foreign extremist. Even when you look at the domestic attacks, the chances of being killed by a muslim terrorist are less than that than an upset white teenager that's mad at the world.

The restrictions placed on Muslim countries will not prevent terrorism, it is just a placebo for the willfully ignorant. Attitudes like yours are part of the problem and I believe Trump's actions will likely lead to more than one major terrorist attack in the near future since he is aggravating the situation instead of taking meaningful actions to solve the problem once and for all.

Attitudes like yours put everybody at risk as you constantly put your desire to appease Muslims above anything else. There will undoubtedly be a major terrorist attack in the near future, that has been on the cards for a long time, hardly rocket science, but of course the anti-Trumps will try to put that on him and his ban rather than the hate filled bitter Muslim terrorists who thrive on terrorising people and who have been looking for the opportunity to do so for some time. The fact that more attacks have not occurred is because they have been thwarted by good intelligence.

Hopefully the opportunity to carry out an attack will further be thwarted by the ban - we don't want to make it too easy for them do we? They will probably attack Americans elsewhere in the world where it will be easier to get at them.

As for wilful ignorance I see plenty of that coming from the anti-Trump side from those furious that he actually had the nerve to keep his word. Like it or not this is what many of the American electorate wanted and why he was voted in And he owes an allegiance to them not left-leaning Brits who want to try to tell Americans what they can and can't do in their country or left/leaning Americans who didn't vote for him. At the end of the day he is trying to protect all Americans even if some are too stupid to see that and can only focus on the rights of the Muslim minority.

Socially awkward teenagers cannot be compared to religous groups as they are Americans and the responsibility of the American system. The same duty of responsibility is not owed to immigrants who abuse the privilege of being allowed into America.

It is irrelevant how many Americans/Westerners are killed in other ways, if we can stop more being killed by religous groups who hate our freedoms and way of life and seek to destroy that, it is a good thing not a bad thing.

What is your strategy for home grown terrorism?

So basically many on here are saying that the death of a few Americans via terrorist hands is preferable to banning Muslims from the country. Even an increase in that figure would be preferred to denying Muslims the right to stay. Nice. As long as it isn't their own of course.

The general rule is, if you don't want refugees, then don't go into their countries and bomb them to pieces, or support people bombing them to pieces. America btw, had a big hand in that... happy to go to war but reluctant to face the humanitarian consequences of those wars.

And another thing; why is SAUDI ARABIA EXEMPT? Those fcukers are responsible for more terrorism than anybody else.

The lack of humanity from some people on these boards towards people who have no homes because America has flattened their country, is truly staggering.

All the ban will achieve is make America a bigger target. The ban does nothing to stop terrorism, it's just for the sake of people like you who are wilfully ignorant.

It's not about appeasement, it's about common sense. Not all muslims are terrorists and it does nothing good to treat innocent people as suspects based on nothing but your own paranoid fears. What Trump is doing is unconstitutional and goes against the core tenets that the US was built upon. It's rather sad that you are supporting the infringement of human rights because you are crippled by fear especially when this ban will do nothing to actually help.

People who gladly throw their own rights away and the rights of others to feel a false sense of security make me sick.

Your third paragraph is just the typical useless 'LEFT IS THE DEVIL' rubbish that you present as fact although it isn't in the slightest. You've ignored actual facts presented by peopel in thsi thread because you can't argue against them, like usual, you don't have a leg to stand on.

Your point about downplaying terrorism committed by non-muslim parties is silly too, there hasn't been a Muslim terrorist attack carried out by a foreign party in any of the banned countries since 1975 like Greg said so what's the point of this ban? It's a meaningless measure meant to appease the ignorant and not actually achieve anything in the process.

When it comes to terrorism, the biggest threat to the average American isn't every Muslim from abroad but white mass shooters that were born and raised in America. It's kind of odd how you are so willing to breeze past that to screech about arabic people and muslims.

Well that's a lie. You have six infractions and none of them are for calling anyone ignorant.

I only infract insults if they are actually insults, saying that someone is ignorant is not something I'd consider an insult especially in this context as you have ignored or downplayed facts presented by others that don't suit your agenda. That is pretty ignorant.

If I used an actual abusive term against you then you'd be right but ignorance, like bigot is a descriptor of someone's opinion. Not an insult.

The US Customs and Border Protection Agency at Dulles International Airport has refused to grant attorneys access to any detainees it may be holding, according to Sharifa Abassi, who is coordinating the volunteer lawyer efforts underway there. Yesterday, a federal judge for the Eastern District of Virginia ordered respondents, who include CBP, President Trump, and the CBP Port Director for Dulles Wayne Biondi, to “permit lawyers access to all legal permanent residents being detained at Dulles International Airport.”

Abassi says late Sunday morning a border agent told lawyers that agents have been instructed not to speak with them. About 15 lawyers have been directed to call Steve Sapp, an official with the CBP Office of Public Affairs, but have so far have not had their calls answered or returned. Washingtonian called the number, which directed reporters to a cellphone number whose voicemail was full.

Abbasi and one other lawyer we spoke to say officials at Dulles have refused to engage with the lawyers since this morning. A border agent who agreed to bring the lawyers’ request for access to detainees, as well as a copy of the order, to her supervisor came back with this message: “It’s not going to happen.”

“It’s not a Muslim ban, but we’re totally prepared,” Trump claimed. “It’s working out very nicely. You see it at the airports, you see it all over. It’s working out very nicely and we’re gonna have a very, very strict ban and we’re going to have extreme vetting, which we should have had in this country for many years.”
Except that it’s NOT “working very nicely” at all.
Thousands of people are finding themselves stranded or detained at airports because of the order. Even holders of green cards are being prevented from entering the United States despite being citizens of this nation. Protests against Trump’s order have also been popping up at airports across the country.
And things got even worse on Saturday evening when security at Dulles International Airport detained a five-year-old girl and refused to let her mother see her.
Seriously, how in the hell is a five-year-old girl even considered a terror threat in this country?
Former Governor Howard Dean posted the news on Twitter and pleaded for an attorney to go to the scene to rescue the girl as soon as possible.

A Google engineer had made the same argument in a viral blog post just hours before, arguing that the institution of the Muslim ban could be seen as a "trial balloon for a coup". He pointed to a range of different events – including reports that the Muslim ban was opposed by lawyers at the Department for Homeland Security, who were then overruled by Mr Bannon, and a report from the Guardian that claimed that the White House had "purged" nearly all senior staff at the State Department.

The post by Yonatan Zunger claimed that the administration was in the middle of transferring all executive power "to a tight inner circle, eliminating any possible checks from either the Federal bureaucracy, Congress, or the Courts. Departments are being reorganized or purged to effect this". He also wrote that moves like the Muslim ban and the unexpected events that followed are a way of "actively probing the means by which they can seize unchallenged power".

Its also well worth the time to read for Bannon insight:

Let's not get bogged down with what right or left leaning people do or don't say.

I asked what your example of extreme left was and you gave me Jeremy Corbyn based on his view for disarmament.

'In addition to looking at the factors supporting the reproduction of the UK’s nuclear weapons we should look at the political strength of those supporting disarmament. Nick Ritchie’s research into recent polls shows that the British public appears ‘quite firm in its support of global nuclear disarmament’, whilst its support for the planned replacement of Trident is ‘increasingly limited’. A wider question here is what information reaches the public, how it is framed and how salient nuclear and related security issues become. For example, in addition to focusing on the short-term goal of ‘No Trident replacement’ it may be beneficial for disarmament advocates to propose that the UK become a former NWS.

The reason to have this as a medium to long-term goal is firstly that the UK will always be a NWS according to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty so that, as Scott Sagan argues, former NWS would be ‘more latent’ than states which ‘did not have their technological expertise or operational experience’. Secondly, rather than focusing on scrapping a particular weapons system, former NWS status- as an objective- conveys more appropriately the wider political implications for the UK if it is to live up to its international responsibilities and disarm irreversibly, verifiably and transparently.'

It would seem the majority of Brits agree with him...are they all extreme left?

The alt right are nazis, simple as. It's not about them 'having strong opinions' it's the fact that when people like Richard Spencer speak at events, people will literally agree with what he is saying with Nazi salutes. Nazi ideology and White Supremacy, that's what the Alt Right is.

There's the right wing and then there's the Alt Right Nazis, if you can't tell the difference between the two then that's rather worrying.

I think most people in theory would support global disarmament not unilateral disarmament. But even that in these Days of extreme terrorism is unlikely. All good in theory but the reality is not quite as clear cut.

So yes I do still think Corbyn, not the majority of Brits, is extreme and irresponsible in many of his views including disarmament. His personal idealism supersedes his common sense and opinions on what is best for the country in my opinion.

Open borders, PC gone mad and its hypocritical belief in diversity in skin colour but not in thinking and free speech and its general devaluing of British/Western culture and way of life, which it seems most other cultures want a piece of despite their refusal to integrate.

I meant of Corbyns... Seeing as you have held him up for scrutiny as an example of 'extreme left'.

'PC gone mad' is a soundbite, it has no definition, 'open borders' has no contextual definition. I fail to see where your link is to other cultures in a discussion relating to the extreme left.

Bannons name is coming up again and again. Here is a recent article about Bannon's perceived influence on the current crop of executive orders:

https://www.mediamatters.org/blog/2017/01/30/breitbart-clauses-trump-s-executive-orders/215179

Its also well worth the time to read for Bannon insight:
Building the House of Breitbart

https://www.jacobinmag.com/2016/11/breitbart-news-drudge-alt-right-koch-trump/

Stephen Bannon is an extreme Alt-Right, anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist, who has absolutely no business being in any position which would influence official government policies. No he isn't.

Also, you should learn what the Alt Right actually is instead of seeing 'Right' and assuming it applies to you. If you think the Alt Right = Right Wing then you're being more insulting towards the Right Wing than anyone else in this topic.

I know the difference between the two types of 'right' thanks and, as previously mentioned, I was just responding to you comparing the alt right to nazi's. The only people who compare are other mass murderers/dictators who slaughtered people for so-called ideological reasons.

so i gotta say i voted trump, and yes i am gay too before i start my take on this.

1. If this was a "muslim ban" he would of ban the other 45 different countries in the world with muslim majority populations, the roll out for this was terrible.
2. He took Obama's list of most dangerous countries and took it a step further than him, but nobody made a big deal about this because hes a "democrat" "FOR THE PEOPLE!!!"
3. This isn't a permanent ban... it is a temp 90 day stop period until the government gets a new plan/way to check people coming in and out of these countries to make sure our country stays safe.
4. Take a lesson out of Europe's books, they let anyone and everyone come in and it's looking more like the middle east, women being raped, bombs and shootings everyday by migrants. It's fine if people come and would like to fit into the european style of living, but do not come to Europe/United States and expect us to conform to your way of life because it is a PRIVILAGE to come here.

this is my take.. i'll be waiting for the I'M RACIST people when muslim isn't even a race :)

Fridays update on Trumps total arrogance and disrespect for the law...

SEATTLE — A U.S. judge on Friday temporarily blocked President Donald Trump’s ban on travelers and immigrants from seven predominantly Muslim countries after Washington state and Minnesota urged a nationwide hold on the executive order that has launched legal battles across the country.
U.S. District Judge James Robart in Seattle ruled that the states had standing to challenge Trump’s order, which government lawyers disputed, and said they showed their case was likely to succeed.
“The state has met its burden in demonstrating immediate and irreparable injury,” Robart said.
Trump’s order last week sparked protests nationwide and confusion at airports as some travelers were detained. The White House has argued that it will make the country safer.
Washington became the first state to sue over the order that temporarily bans travel for people from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Libya and Yemen and suspends the U.S. refugee program.
State Attorney General Bob Ferguson said this week that the travel ban significantly harms residents and effectively mandates discrimination. Minnesota joined the suit two days later.
After the ruling, Ferguson said people from the affected countries can now apply for entry to the U.S.
“Judge Robart’s decision, effective immediately ... puts a halt to President Trump’s unconstitutional and unlawful executive order,” Ferguson said. “The law is a powerful thing — it has the ability to hold everybody accountable to it, and that includes the president of the United States.”
. . . .
Ferguson said the order is harming Washington residents, businesses and its education system. It will reduce tax revenue and impose significant costs on state agencies, as well as make it impossible for some state employees and students to travel, he said.
Washington-based businesses Amazon, Expedia and Microsoft support the state’s efforts to stop the order. They say it’s hurting their operations, too.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/religion/us…
The Seattle Judge went farther than the US District court judges in NYC, Alexandria, VA and Los Angeles, whose orders were read to apply to “green card”/legal residents of the US, who were banned from reentry to the US by Pres. Trump’s Executive Order. The Seattle Order reaches travel visas.
I’m sure the Court found it helpful to hear from Amazon, Expedia and Microsoft, about the damage the Executive Order does to Big Biz.
With each new temporary order entered by a US District Court, all of which orders are of temporary duration, and last only until a subsequent hearing (at which a temporary injunction may be issued, which would last for the duration of each lawsuit) the impact is that the ban against enforcement of Executive Order is lengthened. It only takes one such Order to negate enforcement of the EO.
To borrow a verb from the Rightie posters who reported judicial actions upon President Obama’s EO’s and policies, four separate US District Court judges have now “slammed” DJT’s first move on immigration.
