The producers will need to cleverer,
maybe the week they come to split up the pairs,

The C&T says that BB has the rights to separate couples and pair them with other hms - which is going to happen sooner or later.

They'll evict one or two pairs with it, then make them separate housemates, then towards the end pair them back up with different people (one's they've clashed with in the past probably) when they need to get rid of some excess.

The last German season had housemates being paired up on Launch Night getting wristbands. They had to do tasks together and if they're being nominated their partner had to face eviction automatically. Every two weeks they swapped their partners until four weeks before the final. I can see them doing it similarly, having the existing couples together at first but then changing partners. I would be here for it.

It will probably last only 2 weeks max anyway.

How about 8 couples..16 housemates in total. Instead of 'a couple' being one housemate evict individually and break the couples down.
Now that would be a great format. Any partner would resent others nominating/evicting their other half and would get very interesting.

I think I would like them to be couples at the start, but slowly start to separate as the series goes on to see if they can last.

I think maybe when a pair is evicted, one gets to stay and one has to remain evicted but that could get confusing so I say keep it simple and don't over complicate it. I want it to last as well, unlike the others.

I'd prefer it if they were nominated as couples but the public get the chance to save them individually e.g. Couple 1 and couple 2 are up for eviction, all four face it individually, the male from couple 2 gets evicted, the female from couple 2 can carry on alone, and nominate alone, and be nominated alone.

The application did not ask for couples. It asked for pairs, which could be a family member aswell as a partner. I hope they focus more on family members than partners.

Just incase..was on the official explanation form. I don't remember if it was also on the email that they sent out reminding people about applying. I only know about the pairs thing (as I had only heard Emma saying 'couples') because my husband was going to apply with his cousin. Though they didn't get round to doing the video so its a no for this year :laugh:

I imagine that they'll probably attempt to rip off BBAU's pairs twist from 2014, but, because it's Channel 5, somehow make it worse than it was in the whole first place.
