CELEBRITY Big Brother bosses are hoping to pull off the most explosive twist to the series yet by sending famous couples into the house.
At the end of the last series, host Emma Willis revealed show bosses were looking for pairs, and now The Sun Online can reveal that they are considering throwing in ‘normal’ people with a bunch of famous celebrity duos for another special All Stars series.
The news comes after we exclusively revealed earlier this week that former winners Stephen Bear and Charlotte Crosby are set to return to Big Brother TOGETHER now they are officially a couple.
And CBB bigwigs are secretly working hard to sign up some other big names.
A source said: “It’s seriously early for anything to be set in stone but bosses are working hard on the idea and talking to the couples about big money deals to firmly secure them for the series in the summer.”
The Cheeky Girls are also in the mix to appear on the Channel 5 reality show
It isn’t the first time famous couples have entered the Celebrity Big Brother house, with Heidi and Spencer Pratt – aka Speidi – appearing in 2013 and the latest All Stars series which ended last month.
Irish twins Jedward have also gone into the show as one housemate on two different occasions.
Their success planted the seed with bosses that a full series of couples could be an explosive concept – if they do manage to sign up all of their dream couples.
Other names in the mix include The Cheeky Girls, who rose to fame on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, and ‘Fat Scounger’ Stephen Beer and his wife Michelle.
