Hello final Challengers. Your time on Starship TC1 is nearly at it’s end. But first, you must battle for your place as the winners, and ultimately make it back to earth alive. In the spaceship there are only enough hibernation pods for one team to make it back home, in an estimated 1 million light years away from now. For this final battle, we have unleashed an orb of dark matter into the starship. This ball of dark energy can only be contained from ripping a hole in the universe by being held in the hands of a human. However, the energy from this orb is so dark that if held for too long, it could destroy the person holding it. Once the orb is released, one player must take it and hold it for a period of 1 hour. After the 1 hour is up, they must pass it to another challenger and they can pass it to whomever they choose. If they do not pass it before an hour they incur 1 fail and the orb will be up for grabs from anyone. After 24 hours, the person who has held the dark matter for the least amount of time combined with the most fails will be eliminated.

Example, before each hour is up, the orb holder must state "I am passing the orb to ___" and include the picture of the orb. If you fail to say this then they incur a fail and anyone can take the orb by stating "I have taken the orb" and include a picture of the orb. Do you understand?

Yes just to confirm you cannot keep picking it up as it clearly states that you cannot hold it for longer than 1 hour. It is okay to pass to someone, and if that person does not pick up within an hour you are allowed to pick it up again.

Not last night because DTM passed it to Reece, but Reece failed to pass it so DTM took it again. You didn't say you took it but just passed it on meaning you never had it. The first time you've had it was this morning.

So you don't get scored on points only fails. You only receive a fail if you do not pass the orb on within the hour that you were given it and if you hold onto the orb without passing it on.

I thought Riley clarified earlier that it was just fails that counted rather than time spent holding holding the orb like we thought initially...

So you don't get scored on points only fails. You only receive a fail if you do not pass the orb on within the hour that you were given it and if you hold onto the orb without passing it on.

Yeah I guess so. The amount of time you have had the orb would only count say if you only held it once and incured no fails but someone else held it twice with no fails then the person who only held it once would be eliminated.

A supernova is about to take place nearby, and as previously mentioned, only one team will make it out of TC1 alive. I will post a live stream of the countdown until the hibernation pods launch from the ship. In order to be the team that accesses the hibernation room in time, you must PRIVATE MESSAGE Riley and SuperV the password to the room once the countdown has struck 0. In order to find the password, you will need to look back throughout the whole of the game to find letters which make up the password (these will be in the form of pictures and will be obvious they are part of the task). The first team to send the password in the form of the pictures of the letters in the correct order (if there’s more than one person in a team then only 1 person needs to send the password) closest to AFTER the countdown has finished, will gain access to the hibernation pods and win The Challenge 1.0!
