Can't wait for C5 to use that as an excuse to make the series 2 weeks long

Oh shut up

I know you're having a tough time in your relationship at the moment but don't take Rob's cheating out on me my lad, or I'll give it you back in spade loads.

Not an epic ratings battle between BB and Revolution

I wouldn´t mind it not starting tbh. Could help me to focus BBUS more.

I'm not entirely sure Channel 5 viewers are the type to be distracted by politics

Considering Tuesday launches seem to be the 'thing' now - I'm guessing it'll launch on the 13th June which will be exactly 4 years after miss Sallie Axl strolled inside the doors!

Perched for it to be a 40 day series

day one to be a 14 in 14 out special?

We're all in for a shock whenever the launch is, because it's going to turn out that Charlie has had Jason locked in the house since 17 'ended'.

nothing should come before bb or CBB - it should have to wait :conf:

Better even if it's after June 20th

Yeah June 15th or so would be an ideal launch :clap1:

Perched for Love Island to fill the gap

That's true actually. Love Island will help the wait not drag.

What are the usual airing dates of love island?

Late May until mid July I think.

I actually disagree because of 2 reasons:

1. C5 love Benefits shows and I have a feeling a fair % are people on benefits and a lot of working class people (the show has done very badly in the ABC demo, the "posh" people don't like it much), so those working classes of people will want to see how their lives will change (if it makes that much of a difference), but the working class are always affected most by these things...

#1 is quite a far fetched reason...

But:

2. Didn't some of Election debates on C5 BEFORE BB aired get higher ratings than BB16 which followed an hour later? (I know BB16 did s*** but still). I recall those debates getting between 1.2-1.4m

I don't see the problem though, if they have to dodge it they will just launch it between Tues 13th-Friday 16th June.

Sure that means a short series to make room for the awful summer CBB on the 1st week of Aug (8th).

My opinion:

BB18 Launch- Tuesday 13th June.
BB18 Final- Tuesday 8th August

= 8 weeks.

CBB20 Launch- Thursday 10th August
CBB20 Final- Friday 8th September

= 4 weeks, 1 day

BGT final will air on Sunday 4th June after it's semi's air from Monday 29th May-Friday 2nd May?? I can see it finishing a week before or a week later.

7 Auditions with the 7th airing 27th May.

This way BB must have started AFTER Monday 5th because they will not have BGT and BB crossover like it did for BB16.
