we don't know if it's 100% happening because big brother has only asked for pairs to audition but have not said anything when revealing stuff.
But if it's happening what are your theories on how the pair thing will work?
Since it's apparently 40 days or something (:umm2:) i think the pairs will be a pair for a few weeks and will nominate and be evicted as pairs and 2 weeks before the final they will be as one. Only one person will win.

The pairs theme was axed in favour of a British theme although pairs may still take part

Does that mean there were no lone applicants at all? I know they were asking for pairs to audition in January, but I just assumed that was to encourage more to audition so they had a wider variety to choose from and anyone else could still apply too?
I would've been excited for a pairs twist ten years ago, but this is just an excuse for C5 to throw in more housemates early on and then cull them quicker when they need to get the numbers down

Apparently the pairs thing is still happening but isn't any sort of twist. There will just be more pairs than usual....
Unless they've decided to do some twist with it on launch

My theory (because it's the only way I see it working) is that pairs will nominate pairs, however they will all face eviction separately. When a person is no longer in a pair they just go at it alone. Maybe a Hunger Games twist where pairs that are still together by the final can win together.
