View Full Version : How (un)successful will Raph be?

Thought it would be a good idea to post this poll, so we can look back on it once Raph has been evicted/won.
Leaning towards first/early evictee
I can't help but feel a lot of people are being overly optimistic :dog:

Despite people whinging on Twitter about the Trump thing, I think he'll do pretty well - he's a white non-offensive attractive male twenty-something. The only time they don't do well is if they're bigoted/misogynistic like Sezer, or just unlikable like Marco.
Shaun

I don't think he'll be one of the first 3/4 evictees but somewhere between 8th and 3rd.

don't want to curse it, but i will just say Winner :worry:

In the ideal world he'd win but it's not looking gr8 atm :worry:
He'll be in it until the later stages though

Out before week 4

Actually yeh finalist. Theres gonna be like 7/8 up this week, chances are the crowd will despise one of them, and I dont see that being Raph.

06-06-2017, 01:58 PM
I should've included a 'cut before the final' option, but let's just pretend that counts as 'mid-evictee' :p
Lostie!
06-06-2017, 01:58 PM
I think he'll be the male marmite housemate in the vein of Aaron, Dexter etc, both of whom did well (one under VTE). Will still come out to boos of course but I think he has a decent chance of placing well.

If he can work on not being put up this week, and then befriending everyone to avoid noms in future I think he'll be good. Just needs to lay low and let the (female) bigger characters self implode to survive most VTE's, he should know this

It's going to be interesting to see just how helpful or unhelpful being that big a fan of Big Brother/game playing in Big brother can get a person

Certainly in the US and Canada it can either be your downfall or your best asset. The more you play up being a massive fan the more people fear you, so he might want to tone that down especially given Tom saw his 'gameplaying' VT
I mean this in the best possible way but I don't expect him to be a prominent character but under this format if you want to win, that's the way to be
At this stage, maybe mid. Don't forget the rest of the viewers don't give two ****es that he posts on here

100% especially if he's a game player with an American accent, the British public seem to hate that

i think he has the potential to be an early evictee or a finalist
if people can't get past the whole american-gameplayer theme he has going on right now then he won't do very well, but if the edit can show that he is actually a normal person unlike a lot of the reality show rejects in there then he might do quite well?

Really hoping for him to pull an Andy West or Jason and get pretty far even though he's a bit of a game player.

If Tom hadn't gone in I think he would go far but Tom will sabotage him.
I feel he could be one of the first 5 to go. Without being rude he has a lot to overcome and won't get the girl vote.

I feel like if TiBB put all their VTE votes on one or two people every Eviction he is nominated then he would have a great chance of staying. Its when the votes are more spread out that it's harder to keep it. This is why they should make it VTS but just for this series :joker:
Going all the way, he has the power of covfefe behind him.

I don't think Raph's VT came across that well. I do wonder how people would view him if he wasn't a member on here. I can't say he seemed like a nice guy from that VT, and his profile on the BB website is even worse.
Saying that, he does have a brain (a rare sight in C5 series) and comments on Facebook seem generally positive. The fact he's not another z-lister from a reality show on MTV/ITV makes him more appealing as a HM. He's probably the most normal one in there, hopefully that side of him clicks with viewers.
Sadly I think we're in for another BB15 with a vile winner. So Raph won't win, but I hope he does well.

Good post
I don't blame him for that VT because everyone plays up to some extent but its not surprising that it didn't go down well with some people. He did come across confident, friendly and articulate though, and he'll be really keen to get involved. There is a chance he'll get screwed by this early twist with Tom and leave early but if he can get through that I think he'll do well

Top 4, successful enough that he will be a shoe-in for the Big Brother World Championship when Global takes BBCan off hiatus

His actions, coupled with the views and comments from a vast section of the forum seems to indicate he is flying the flag for a lot of FM's and those actions mirror image the views and actions of a lot of our fellow FM;s. This indicates that he is a pretty good representative of the forum (if he wins) but if he does badly, he will be discarded like an old oil rag. Personally he is so far removed from my values that he is my direct polar opposite, similar to the way i am viewed on here, so thats no secret. However there are so many things he says and does, that make me believe he represents the forum members in the main, quite accurately. We will see how he gets on.

I completely disagree with that. Raph has been a member here for alot longer than he's been a HM, most of us are more loyal than that

If anything I expect he'll have even more respect (well, from most) when he returns
I can't wait to find out about all the behind the scenes stuff, just how set up it is these days etc
I didn't know Raph prior to his appearance on the show, so I have no preconceived opinions on him. Everyone tries to stand out one way or another in their VT so I won't be taking that as a reference point. So far he has shown that he is a bright lad and isn't the typical talentless wannabe that seems to prevail these days.
There is only 1 winner, and the way the producers meddle I would say his chances of winning were at best slim, but if he enjoys himself and gets something from it, good luck to him

I think he stands a really good chance of getting to the final/winning... I have a feeling though that unless he starts overtly 'gameplaying'/causing drama the producers might not be happy with him and try and rig him out somehow  ... I'll go with 'Winner' anyway, he stands a real shot and it'd be great to see.
