Tips for a first time watcher?

Not sure if this should be a thread but I have so many questions to ask and don't know where to start for finding this stuff out.

What days (and time) are BBUK live shows on? How do live feeds work? What site could I find these shows & feeds on live? What's this "exile" stuff I'm seeing? Where is the discussion thread for the episodes? (I might've discussed the launch in the wrong place I'm not sure)

Anything else I can probably find out as I go... but also any other tips on what to expect? :laugh:

when you say live shows do you mean the highlights show? it's on every night at 10 and the live eviction shows are friday at 9 generally

it's on everyday (9/10pm our time)
evictions are on fridays
we only get like 1 hour or less live feeds on live shows and thats it
exile stuff is just a one off twist so the people who are exiled are at risk for eviction and then hopefully next week it's back to normal with each housemate nominating two people who they don't get on with.
a discussion thread gets made everyday before the show starts

Right... BB is on at 10PM apart from on evictions (9PM). No feeds, aside from on a Friday straight after the eviction (on the same channel).

The exile stuff: The public voted in Tom who has been chosen as the "peoples housemate", he's been "exiling" housemates which means whoever he choses faces risk of eviction on Friday.

There's a different discussion thread each night as well

Ok, I didn't even know the show was formatted that way where there's a highlight show every day. Thanks everyone for clearing that up. One last thing though is there a way I can watch it live online?

BBUK highlight episodes are on every night unlike BBUSA/BBCAN. Check this link for times (GMT time obviously): http://www.channel5.com/tv-guide/

We don't have live feeds as such, but some nights (maybe after evictions) there will be like an hour of live feed after the highlight show itself airs. Evictions are usually on Fridays but sometimes they have a ~surprise one midweek or something, but Emma always announces it. There's a new discussion thread every night made for that episode.

The exile stuff is basically going to be the housemates up for eviction (as far as we know) that Tom chooses based on what the public want.

It works with VPN. That's the only way I can watch BB outside UK and I use it for years. :thumbs:

Seems like you only know the US-format.

This show is basically about the interactions of people. Channel 5 are focussing on arguments and how to get them, but in the end it's important what the viewer thinks of you.
