2 episodes in, first thoughts.

I haven't seen tonight's episode yet as I'm slightly behind due to exams, but I wanted to write a thread with some quick bullet points on my first thoughts of the season so far.

Housemates are far more diverse than other years and much less 'TOWIE' types, which is really good. For once, I applaud the C5 casting. In addition, the house is just aesthetically perfect. I'm not huge on the whole "Peoples Housemate" twist, however since it has been repeated how Tom is the only HM who will have access to the outside world, at least we can expect less producer manipulation and the tiring 'the public has voted X as the most two-faced!' tasks.

As long as we can evict Kieran, Ellie, Kayleigh or anyone from that crowd in the early days and keep the decent HMs in.. this could be a really great series. But i'll keep my fingers crossed because I remember thinking similar about BB16 pre-4in4out.

My favourite housemates so far; Sukhvinder, Deborah, Hannah, Rebecca, and surpsingly I actually really like Raph/Lotan??

I am enjoying it. I am sure we could have sacrificed a few of Lotan/Ellie/Kieran/Tom/Charlotte for a few more older housemates.

This series really could be amazing. My favourites are Arthur, Chanelle and Sukhvinder but I feel as if every housemate has the potential to be really entertaining.

hi joshbb - great post - I to think they have got it right with mix for once - its normally most all young and that is not makes a BB - age brings experience ( not in mandys case)

He is not attractive and is too self important. I doubt he will last. Not too sure about Tom yet - mainly because of his manic eyes...

Yes and he makes me cringe...not sure why but he just does.

True...very true...I also find it hard to understand what he is saying at times. He's nowhere near as yuk as Joe though...
