Would you go to an interview without makeup?

This one is mainly for the ladies, or guys that wear makeup (?) :shrug:

But based on the make up debate, would you wear make up to a interview to show you have made an effort? Or would you not care and not think it would impact your chances?

I have done yeah. I've been in this job for 18 years though. I rarely wore make up when i was younger
