It is a two way attempt, if he wanted to get on with them then he would try to get to know them.

that's true.
I'm not warming to him yet bc of the gameplaying/VT stuff and the fact he's not stuck out in a HL show for me but I think if that improves and he starts being him i'll start warming to him more.

Raph seems exactly like I would expect a BB forum poster to be on Big Brother. Quiet, not confrontational, trying to be friends with people but coming off awkward, and talking about previous seasons of BB too much.

I don't think he's going to add much to the show in the long run. I really dislike big fans of the show being on the show. It's far more interesting to have people with more real world experience to share their opinions and adventures rather then someone that probably spends a lot of time at a computer. I love BB but i'd make a **** house guest for just that reason lol.

I kind of agree that being a huge fan of the show is not always a benefit as people see through it but with Raph I hope people can see that he's not just a fan but he really wants the experience. ..I just hope it lives up to his expectations and he has a summer to remember
