This is why BBCAN is my favourite BB to watch because they show both fun and drama. (and ofc you get to see everything rather than updates and little clips)

They need to start showing the fun clips, not only the arguments :nono:

They must be rubbing their hands over the housemates causing drama themselves saving them from giving daily tasks to force it out of them. Sadly they don't really do fun anymore

Because we only like to watch rows/arguments apparently.

Big Brother needs to be a mix of drama/fun/relationship building/character - and it thinks drama is all we care about. BB5/BB6/BB7 had such a good mix which is why they are my three favourite series.

I think the only actual fun ones there are the dancing and the Chanelle and Raph one.

Also when they release these throughout the day on Twitter/Facebook/Youtube then there's no need to show them again in my opinion.

would they even show that without the drama afterwards though?

I think they too obsessed with targeting certain audiences tbh. i think other shows have influenced how they edit things too. Would we get the same edits if shows like Geordie Shore and EOTB didn't exist?

I will tell you why the clips are vile

No one wants to see a poorly educated mess like Chanelle as she has nothing to say, she isnt funny and its uncomfortable to look at her and the way she has ruined her looks is a desperate bid to try and attract a mate

I am so glad we have been spared the above. Horrific

Guys seriously, why do you want clips that are made available on the Internet to also been shown on the show?!

That would mean half the show would be filled with stuff people have already seen. Come on now.

The Chaph videos are great :joker: They should've put them in the HL shows.
It's funny that Raph said in his VT that he needs intelligent people around him, while he's befriending Chanelle. She's a sweet girl though, underneath the terrible surgeries. I guess Raph will cringe seeing a few of his statements in his VT in retrospect.

Their entire social media feed is pretty much spoilers for every episode, whether it's video clips or revealing who is up for nomination they don't hide much

I know this.

What I'm saying is though why do people want clips that circulate the Internet hours before the show is on also being shown on the show?

I don't agree with certain spoilers(nominations) but I like how they show these clips without putting them on the show. It allows us as viewers to see more house action. We get like what? 45 minutes every night. So an extra 6-7 clips a day as long as they are different to what they show in the house are welcome in my eyes.

If they release these on the Internet and then show them on the main show then most the people on this forum may as well not watch the main show. If that makes sense?

Yeah i get that, it's good to see things we don't usually see in the episodes.. i think the main complaint is how they go about it. These clips on youtube are getting 5,000 - 10,000 views whereas if they were included in the episodes its up to 1 million viewers seeing them. Thats why it's annoying.. these clips where we see some fun and the other sides to housemates aren't being shown on national TV. It could be the difference from the public liking someone to hating them/finding them boring.

This is a valid point I guess. I personally only view them through here so I wasn't aware of how many views they actually get.

I'm not sure why they choose certain clips over others but I've always been one to believe that they don't fix things to make certain housemates get more time etc. The VT's are fixed to a degree before they go in but I like to think that's the only time producers try to sway our opinions.

I've always wondered why they can't just extend the main show by half an hour or something too. BOTS doesn't really need to be an hour long unless it's an eviction night in my opinion. Take the other half hour from there if Channel 5 won't give them more time.

That way the extra clips they release on the Internet can go on the show instead. Of course, they would then just upload other clips to the Internet and then people would moan about them not being on the show too.

They don't always do the best job but to condense 24 hours into 1 must be a ****ing hard job.
