The whole thing got awkward after that and that's why he made his "joke" towards her which then esculated further when she knocked his hat off him and then he snapped.

Well Chanelle spat on him and did catch him on the head when she whacked his hat off. The fillers comment was a bit of a low blow and his initial reaction to the hat thing was ott but he calmed down within a couple of minutes and then went straight over and apologised
