View Full Version : Chanelle gets a warning and Kieran doesn't???
Epic.

I wholly understand giving Chanelle a warning for spitting on a couch and for hitting someone's forehead. But with that said, Kieran not getting a warning is flat out RIDICULOUS. Let's run down the list here:
Insults Chanelle's looks
Refrains from apologizing after she tells him insulting her looks is hurtful
Threatens her that she was lucky she wasn't a guy after he hit her or else it would've been something else...
Calls her a ****
But NOTHING??? I...I... just, WHAT?

Neither should have gotten a warning imo
Let them get on with it, she never even touched him and his tgreats were as empty as his head.

Agreed. Kieron is a grade a woman hater and should have been warned.

Justified in my opinion. I'll be alone on this but I don't care.

BIB is the only part of your argument that they could've got Kieran on and I'm absolutely gobsmacked that they didn't warn him for it.
But then Ash got away with threatening to knock Matthew out in BB15 lyrically so Ch5 clearly favour a certain type of guy in arguments.

Yes. You will.
That's fine with me. Spitting at someone is not acceptable. What he said about the fillers was hardly offensive. It was a joke relating to her spitting at him in fact I think....
He over reacted for sure but he soon calmed down and then apologised. Which she accepted.
That wasn't her first incident.

Yeah I kinda agree regarding the spitting

BIB is true as she did turn all Jigsaw on Sukhvinder yesterday, and went all Michelle Bass on Deborah or Hannah (I can't remember which one it was again now) she's basically becoming a female Arthur, only more trashy with it.:joker:

There's no way Kieran should've gotten a warning. Chanelle only deserved to get a warning for aggressively hitting his cap off his head... it's sort of an attack and it was disrespectful as hell when everything before that was joking around (I guess the spitting could be disrespectful and then followed by Kieran's joke that could be disrespectful but I didn't see it that way on either end until that moment). Considering everything, it was very standard how it was handled by BB.

They should have either both got a warning, or neither get a warning. His behaviour was on par, if not worse than hers.

She spat (which isn't allowed).
He made a joke.
She hit him unexpectedly (which isn't allowed).
He reacted to being hit with his comments.
She was completely the instigator in the situation. Obv she'd get the warning.
PS: warnings aren't that big of a deal. Stop trying to make out BB is being biased or playing favourites.

I agree with you snail. Chanelle broke the rules. Kieran didnt. The throw away comment saying she was lucky she wasnt a bloke did not threaten her

It seems pretty obvious that they've got some sort of C5 book (probably more of a pamphlet in reality) that lays out legal/Offcom ramifications and guidelines and they adhere to this rather than looking at situations for what they actually are and how they could personally affect those involved. aka 'Covering their asses'

Imo after watching it BB were right to warn chanelle a warning but Kieran should of deffo got a warning for his threats.
Words are just that, words, and someone who is angry should be allowed to vent if that's what it is restricted to
Invasion of personal space and spitting are on a completely different level

Yes exactly. She just needs to learn some boundaries.
People will always try to spin things when their favourites are involved and I get its hard to stay objective when you like one person and not the other. To be honest I actually like Chanelle but I thought that was a bad episode for her last night.
Kieran is still just there though in my opinion. Considering that was his defining moment in the series so far he really needs to step it up.

Exactly and people wonder why Big Brother intervene in verbal confrontations so quickly now when they want warnings handed out so easily.

Spitting is vile and she should have also got warned for weeing in the pool, that's disgusting

The guy is a douche, but nothing he did was deserving of a warning.
I like Chanelle, but she spat and physically lashed out (again).
The warning was deserved and just.

I personally feel Kieran should have had a warning, he used verbal body language towards her

Quite honestly I think Keiran is a bit of a *******.
He said 'if you were a guy', as if he could lay any man out.
What if the other guy is tougher?
What an idiot.

The way he was acting i don't even think he would have worried about her not being a bloke! He was practically being held back so those doing so obviously thought there was a risk that he was about to react physically.
If it had been a bloke, in or out of the house, he probably would have legged it in the oppopsite direction.
He came across as an uppity little tosser imo.

Did you watch something different to me?!
Being held back?! By who???

Get out. She slapped a hat off his head aggressively in argument, he responded absolutely fine and didn't go for her in any sense.
More women need to learn that physical attacks on men are NOT ok just because they are women.

I believe it was either Tom and/or Lotan but i don't have a videographic memory and i can't be arsed to go and watch it again so i couldn't be sure. I did add a ''practically'' before the accusation to give myself a bit of Theresa May style wiggle room.
I actually barely have a short-term memory at all so i'm surprised i actually remembered the incident at all. Must be cause Kieran's 'manly' reaction scarred my delicate brain so badly.

I'm pretty sure he was sat down next to Kayleigh. Then got up and went and sat on the other side of the sofa on his own. Before storming out. I don't think anyone held him back.

I may have done and no I'm at work. 😜
Any other irrelevant questions?!
Anyway I just rewatched it on a thread from yesterday(tried to tag you but don't know if I can) and nobody held him back but you clearly knew that hence the reason you lowered yourself to trying to personally insult me.
I'll take that as a win! 😊

You need to learn to tell the difference between a personal insult and someone obviously having a laugh!
You may also want to grow a thicker skin if you plan on keeping that 'lovely' (:conf2:) avatar pic though.
I am a raving heterosexual............just in case you were wondering.:fan:

Hahaha don't worry I knew you was having a laugh and my response was supposed to be facetious.
Trust me it takes a lot more than that to bother me.
I'm glad you cleared up your sexuality though as I was just beginning to wonder.

Agreed, Chantelle swerved a warning for weeing in the hot tub so they have to rein her in
