Should I watch Love Island?

I've never managed to watch a full episode of it and I've heard loads of positive views by people towards it, including many calling it better than BB and it beating it in the ratings. Is it too late to watch it? Would I enjoy it? :shrug:

It gets a bad rap because people think it's an amalgamation of the worst aspects of BB; showmances and a cast consisting of straight, white, good-looking, twenty-somethings, but it works. Plus the people they get on LI are actually normal people with everyday jobs. The balance between drama and fun is much better and despite the format, it's really not as 'showmance' heavy as people make it out to be.

I'd recommend watching the weekly recap for the first week as nothing much really happened and then begin watching properly from around last Tuesday's episode as it's picked up since then!
