Voting figures are so bad these days

According to different sources, the general consensus is that VTS gets a hell of a lot less voters calling in than the VTE. Its been suggested as little as 60 to 70% of voters refuse to vote when they use VTS because its a civvi BB.

If its CBB then the VTS gets far more as these celebs have a fan base, the civvi BB rarely has a fan base and in my personal opinion, this maybe why they are mixing z listers in to the civvi BB to try and generate revenue but its not working.

Trust me, votes and voters money makes a massive part of the show. Problem is that these numpties are just simply clueless.

Ive bet on it for years and won thousands so I keep watching but its nearly impossible to not pick up snippets of intel here and there. Not quite right....

1. If its VTE, the votes cast might total 12,000 (for example) and those votes get levied at the person the voters want to evict.

2 If its VTS, then if there are 4 people, the voters need to either vote to save their fav, but if they dont like any of them, like this week in my case, i would have to vote for 3 people to try to evict one. The voting tally comes in around the same figure of say 12,000 but the villians slip through the net because, sadly, the vast majority of voters these days want to keep the likes of channelle in the house and refuse to vote for 3 people just to try and evict one they dont like.

This gives BB control and leaves us watching the z listers scam their way through the show.

My casing point is such that, take just this week.....vte and Joe is gone....vts and we loose a biggie in beckie. Imran and sucky would still be in there as sucky wouldnt have got all the hater votes, she would have been safe. It does not matter a jot how you cut it, the vts isnt doing the job its designed to do because CBB contestants have fan bases and civvi BB dont. The VTS works on CBB but not on BB because the numbers we are looking at are so different and smaller, hence the 1 or 2% between the bottom 2 or 3.

In Civvi BB there simply isnt enough votes coming in to make a viable and secure fan base favoured vote, it will not do the job its intended to do. In CBB the VTS works as they all have fan bases. Civvi BB needs VTE then we can get rid of people like Joe.

VTS in Civvi BB promotes lackadaisical attitudes in voting, plus many wont spend the cash for a show thats not even representing the publics views.

I can definitely believe that. I used to vote multiple times pretty much every week. Then I voted to evict Nikki...the producers didn't like the result so let her back in (eligible to win as well IIRC) and from then on the producers started manipulating very obviously to get the result they wanted. Yes they probably did it to some extent before that too but it wasn't blatant in your face obviousness.

They really ****ed themselves over by trying to ignore what the public wanted like. I do think the endless 'twists' since it went to c5 will be putting people off voting too. If it was a simple nominate, most noms up...people vote. Person with least/most votes leaves rather than what we have then I think more people would actually vote instead of just whining about the results :laugh:

Also Chanelle won't be ejected for anything. They will protect her at all costs. Even to the extent of totally hiding something she does (like the crap in the freezer thing in bb12) so they don't have to remove her

That was the key really. Though it would have annoyed people seeing her back anyway. At least being back as a guest had precedent with John in BB4. But also importantly they brought her back for her showmance and for the post-show promotion they intended to give her, it was all too obvious in the end.

I think BB has almost become too trashy for it's audience. I enjoy BB but Lotan's pecs and Chantelle's bum are not what I'm watching it for. I think the bimbo/bimbette element of BB has been exhausted and personally find it boring.
