I am no fan of Lotan's, but that talk was not required and not valid at all. He didn't act in a physically threatening manner at all. he was under no obligation to leave the room because he was told to, just because it was a woman telling him to do it. I am sorry, that was just BS.

Chan, like her as much as I do, was easily as aggressive in that spat. Physical size does not mean the smaller person gets to tell the large what to do and where to be. That's just ridiculous. His actions were what were important, and he honestly did not act threateningly.

I know that this won't be a popular post because everyone hates Lotan, but I have to be objective about it.

Don't bother about being popular, it's the truth.

Well said.

I thought he put those points across well when called to the diary room as well.

He was completely abrasive. hammering in abuse whilst she layed in bed ignoring him for the most part. It was uncomfortable to watch.

Epic.

That's not the problem. The problem was that he kept giving her verbal abuse after she kept asking him to get out of her face and leave the room. She may have been aggressive, but he was the instigator

Well, based on what BB said in the DR, and what the edit chose to show, it was indeed the problem. Not a direct quote, but BB even said "especially women", or similar. They themselves made it a gendered issue.

I totally get why Lotan wanted to leave, he clearly got the correct impression that he was being painted as an abuser.

I don't care who instigated it tbh, I think there were as bad as each other in the actual argument.
