The use of gifs

In many respects, some of these gifs used to respond to posts, can be and are, in the main, hilarious and raise a titter. However there are some people that use gifs that infer things, that if written, would get a ban, or an infraction for, yet they are tolerated.

Why are some people allowed to use these gifs when they are clearly mimicking, or are being used as a vehicle, to insult a fm. I find it quite wrong they are not removed or sanctioned.

I dont want to turn them off, i just dont think some are fair as they infer the written version of a warning or infraction

Well I never use gifs as I believe in freedom of speech but a lot of them are pretty funny. There are some members on here, you included who constantly bang on about reporting people and threads and infractioning people or closing threads.....it's tiresome.

You are like Big Brother producers and closely monitor every single post and if you take even slight offence or deem it offence to others then you feel it's your duty to bring political correctness to the world.

Stop trying to make the forum boring and if you don't like someone's posts block them or ignore them and just debate and chat to those you find interesting.

This is simply my opinion of witnessing your threads and your often preaching others are offensive when they disagree with you.

Now on the face of it that statement looks and feels rude but its exactly the same as some of the difs used on here which some people use instead of words. I got 3 today, all on different threads , all by different posters, with a gif of a woman condescendingly looking at me and saying shut up, Ive also had on saying aw fook off, these are not right.

I love Sams posts...he spends time putting them together and I love his blunt honesty. Don't always agree but I find him funny. There are many on this forum that get on my tits...but it's a forum, we have different opinions and conduct ourselves in different ways. Just accept it.
