The difference between Joe and Lotan's comments?

I don't want an argument to break out, I'm hoping for a normal healthy debate about this as I'm interested in the responses.

But what was the difference between Joe's comment towards Rebecca that got heavily criticised by the public to the point of nearly getting evicted, to then alot of the public wanting to vote Isabelle in large numbers in an 11 way eviction because she stood up to Lotan who had attacked her looks and intelligence?

Imo Lotan's stuff was nastier than Joe's, yet there's more of a defense for him, why?

He's hotter than Joe of course. If he was ugly then he wouldn't have half of the support he does now.

No argument from me on it,I've never really been bothered about Joe or Lotan.
Both have an attitude that stinks so nothing between the 2 of them as to the opening post's question in my view.

Erm I am not understanding this. Negativity towards Isabelle does not necessarily mean support for Lotan? Only way this would make sense would be if Lotan was still in there and was not in danger of being evicted right now. If being compared to Joes near eviction.

Unless I am missing the point entirely?

Also Joe is a bit of a non-entity tbh. Larger personalities will always drum up more support (and more hate) than blander ones.
