I think they just did it to gain more revenue before evictions go to pre-record and revenue falls dramatically

Yes. Fans have become incredibly complacent in recent years, and as a result have allowed for some very unsatisfying eviction results and winners.

If the voting results weren't revealed we would have been sat here waiting for a tom eviction and kicking off again when it didn't happen.

Only for vte. It would be weird for vts because people would only vote for the ones at the bottom after the first announcement

No, because it empowers the minority voice of forum voting blocks to overly influence the show.

They have too much much power as it is. Giving them a clear picture as to who to aim for will destroy the show even further.
