View Full Version : Should the crowds at evictions be scrapped?

Yes in my opinion, it's quite embarrassing because sometimes they can't even fill the crowd area. Also most of the crowd is usually full of extremely annoying obnoxious people with horrific taste.

Imo they should only have crowds for launches and finals to make them feel like more of an event. Emma can present evictions from a cute indoor studio with a small audience.

It'd be an interesting experiment

And take away the tacky

Yes, they should either have a massive crowd (and that ship sailed a long time ago) or no crowd at all

idk why they never fill the crowd area, its nothing to do with there being no demand (although with this series), they literally turn so many people away and not give people tickets.

Only put their family and friends there

From my experience of being in the crowd for the first eviction this series things they need to change:

- Less waiting time to get in. Far too long, doesn't take that amount of time to usher through a crowd of people.
- Either let people take their own food and drink inside or have food and drink served in there.
- More considerable with the time. If you're not from London and stay until the end of the show you're very unlikely to make your train/coach home.
- Let people bring signs again.
- Stop treating it like a bloody kids show, if you're gonna have a warm up guy then just have him be comedic or something instead of all the nonsense he does.

In all honesty though even if they did all of that they still wouldn't get many people going, there's just not much interest any more

Oh another thing, I love Emma but i think she's a better presenter and more natural when she's in a smaller studio setting than outside with a bigger audience.

I think so too! I feel ashamed to have been apart of that crowd 4 times at 4 different celebrity launches. I didn't go to last January one as rumoured list was awful.

The USA area is much better.

The crowd would look better without all the staging, bring back the housemate walking on ground level to the crowd. You would get a more epic feel. just get rid of all the staging and have emma present from the stairs /studio(that should be where bots is)

The emails from ApplauseStore are embarrassing. They literally beg you to come and try to bribe you with finale tickets.
I'm not unsubscribing because it's funny to read those emails every time :joker:

Had to suffer an hour wait whilst 2 girls with the worst ear offending London accents were arguing with each other and then she left and came back after a while and got into the queue straight away without being searched again, a case of female privilege you have to think

She asked the security person there and he said she would have to go all the way to the back of the queue if she left it but she went anyway and he didn't assed when she came back, strange one

Just shut them up.
Little would wind up housemates up more than knowing a crowd was there but made no cheers or boos towards any of them.

The crowd are a ****ing disgrace, I've wanted them to build an indoor studio that connects to the house (a la BBCan/US) for years now. Would get rid of them and not make it seem so sparse

I wouldn't mind an indoor eviction show, sort of like BB6's or BB9's interviews.

Wouldn't bother me either way
Wish I could go to one of the evictions or opening night

A cool concept especially after tonight's embarrassing crowd!

I actually wouldn't be against this nowadays with what the crowd consisting of about 3 people and just how awful the crowd have become in general anyway. They should do what they did in the earlier seasons of BBUS and have evictions and interviews done from an indoor studio with no people and just have a crowd for the final.

Yeah they should just get rid of the crowd now. There's only like 60 people and everyone apart from the annoying man are silent so there's no point in having them.

(Although it won't matter since they can fill up CBB crowds and BB isn't coming back next year)

I was actually asked if i wanted to go tonight by a friend but i couldn't be bothered to get out of my pj's. No joke. I can see why people are so unenthusiastic about it now days. I think it would be more interesting for the housemates if there wasnt a crowd booing or cheering when their names are called out as they wouldn't know what the public think about them.

I wanted them gone because they booed Hira. idk why anyone would boo Hira when she's one of the nicest people to ever enter big brother.

remember the reaction Adjoa got :umm2: off off off when she literally didn't do anything bad.

sure, but the current set design needs a crowd, and with the show about to be axed there's no time to make a new one !

Jason.
07-07-2017, 10:49 PM
It's a mess they spent money on that extension and new exterior set change only for it to be axed like a year later :skull:

Oaker
07-07-2017, 10:51 PM
It's a shame because the new set is really nice, they just can't fill it :skull:

No they shouldn't get rid of the eviction crowd. One of the things that I've always loved about our version of BB is the outdoor evictions and the crowd. I'd hate if they did an indoor studio - it wouldn't be the same. I hate the eviction set for the US/CAN house - there never seems to be any excitement around their evictions and I hate the fact that the house is literally just through a studio door. I love the fact that our house is it's own building (unlike the US/CAN house) and having a connecting indoor set would take away from that.
