Anyone else think it's a bit pointless because the chances of any of them winning are zero anyway...

Looking at both sides, it could be interesting to have a side competition.

However, it still is useless because who will actually vote for a new housemate to be evicted? And how does that even work if one of them is evicted? That means no 'real' housemate is evicted?

Also, what if at least two of them reach finale night?

It just doesn't make sense. And if I was a housemate, I wouldn't paying attention to them at all. They're just visitors and intruders. They don't matter.

Isabelle becoming the forum's fave in 3 days proves otherwise.

I still don't know what they will do if they actually make the final? Or will there be a separate vote for them in the last week.

It all seems pointless to me.

I still doubt Isabelle will win

I doubt that too but never say never.
It happened before, not in the UK though. Has a newbie ever reached more than 3rd place?

maybe one of them will become a real housemate at some point

I think the voting may be different.

Newbies all up VTS each week

Old HMs voting as usual (VTS/VTE depending who is up)

Theres not much point throwing them all in together in the voting if 4 can't win

I am expecting the last remaining newbie to be offered either the 15k, or to trade it in for a chance to win the show

Whoever places higher will win £15k. If there's a triple next week, and all the new newbies bar Sam are evicted, he'll win £15k no matter when he's evicted, r if he reaches the final.

Yeah Brian Belo entered on Day 17 and he won BB8.

But I still doubt any of these newbies would have won anyway. Haha

Haha yeah, Belo sucks but he's better than the new four.

This seems quite a good prediction as to what will happen

i think its one of the strangest decisions. Completely pointless bringing in a bunch of public rejects. The show just screams mindless crap more than it ever did in the past

As it stands there's no point getting invested in them.

She needs to win the right to WIN the whole bloody show. Kind of fuming

Really weird decision, I guess the producers wanted to shake things up a bit but didn't want any new real housemates so just recycled the "almosts".
