I was just looking at older posts of mine from previous shows, and It seems my passion for BB has pretty much died out this season. There've been moments where interest has been rekindled but then it usually ends up fizzling down to nothing, whereas this time last year I was glued and couldn't wait to get on TiBB after each episode aired. I'm completely the opposite this year. Does anyone else feel that way?

Yes Nancy , I am not bothered whether I miss it now ,where as one time I hated missing a show, I don't feel passionate about any of the housemates , don't care who wins , even the forum has not been the same .:wavey:

i first felt stressed about the show, now i'm just wanting to enjoy it no matter what

as for my fave, i still hope Charlotte will stay this week, and manages to somehow stay over Ellie then i will be really really happy

as for the other 2 guys this week's eviction i will be happy if Tom goes or Joe, i don't care too much about either of them

but i feel so much better right now :)

I feel the same, really. I was really into BB17 (which was nice after a couple of awful years), this year is still better than 2014/2015 but not close to last year in terms of holding my interest.

Actually, the only civilian C5 BBs I have been consistently glued to have been BB13 and BB17. The rest have been either alright but nothing special (12, 14, 18) or downright terrible (15, 16).

I think people usually feel more passion when their favourite stands a chance at winning, I have about 7 favourites at the moment! And im enjoying it

also 7 favourites, me too, it surely feels better when you have more than 1 fave :)

i haven't watched it since the last eviction and thats purely down to the casting in my opinion. It would need to be a heck of a turnaround for me to watch it on anything but eviction night now.

I'm actually finding this series more interesting and better for me personally because last year my only real favourites were Jayne and maybe Laura to an extent. This year, I love Hannah, Deborah, Chanelle, Isabelle and Sue

Last year I was really into BB17 up until Charlie was evicted (which was at this point in this series last year) and then I wasn't as passionate about it after that but was still interested. This series I've felt like that ever since the series started despite none of my proper favourites getting evicted (Sukhvinder walked but would likely still be in there due to the VTS votes and then the rigging last week which would have allowed us to save her and it was her decision to leave). I feel like the spark may be gone due to no one really caring about it this year (BB16 was the same but the excitement of seeing some of my all time favourites back like Nikki, Helen, Aisleyne and Charley sustained it that year).

the problem with this series is no one is funny and has a good sense of humour.

also too much gossiping

its been a dreadful series

If suhkvider and arthur had stayed it had a chance

This has definitely been one of the weaker seasons for sure. BB13 and BB14 I was glued to my seat watching from the C5 series. The episodes have been really boring for awhile and is probably the C5 equivalent of BB4 except a few stray episodes. I'm really not suprised the ratings are low as too many of the housemates are boring.

I feel the same. There isnt one person in the house that i actually like this year. Im just not feeling this series at all. I dont think its helps that the house is but ugly either.

I love it tbh, it’s my fav on C5. It’s just people not caring about it and ratings being low which is bringing the mood around it down :(

There's certainly no one in there as rootable, like our Deana's, Nikki's, Ashleigh's etc.

Yes, this series is dire. If Suki and Arthur had stayed they could have saved it.

I always like to read what TIBB is saying, but I know what you mean.

It's took me 5 weeks before a blow up has happened which is quite unsual for me, but I always enjoy what every member on here is thinking, it actually is the main reason why I still watch the show tbh.

Yes the lack of Charlie Doherty has affected us all.

Snap. I often find members opinions of the HM's more interesting than the HM's themselves....:hehe:

So I'm not on my own then? I always thought that it would sound crazy to admit it, but it's true.

We've all contributed more to this series than Charlotte.

Maybe the problem is a lot of the big characters have gone early like;

Arthur, sukhvinder, Lotan, mandy,

Who would have made the show more interesting if they were still in.

Instead the big characters left or got booted out and most of the ones remaining aren't that interesting.

I know the show was much more interesting when lotan was around even as he was such a big character. Like him or not.

last night she had a bit of a fun moment though with the shocks :D

but Charlotte might've also contributed to this series her own way, just some things from her not shown to us by producers ;)

I have no favourite at all this year. I don't think any of them are lovable, that's the problem for me.

I like Izzy but she's faded since getting rid of Lotan.

Don't particularly hate anyone either so yeah I suppose you could say it's just a bit "meh" for me.

Oh and I think it would be a lot better if Arthur had stayed, I would have loved to see him grow.

Arthur, Sukhvinder and Kayleigh were the most interesting of the bunch. Shame they went.

Meh, Kayleigh I can live without. She's a reality tv professional.
