Increased convictions for terrorism are coming from a wide cross-section of society. How do we deal with this?

Well the first step would be to stop vilifying and dehumanising that cross-section of society, work hard for better integration and inclusion and less hatred on both sides. That would at least form a foundation for real conversations, and stop the youth of that cross-section from feeling alienated and frustrated.
Or I guess we could just "gerrem all outta here send em back" or something, that seems to be the more popular answer.

Integration is a two-way process, but the main emphasis is on those settling in a new country - they have to make a considerable effort to become part of that society. I would strongly apply that to those leaving Britain for pastures new and those coming to live in Britain.
I have no time for the train of thought that seems to put no responsibility on those from one culture to make an effort to identify with the way of life of the country they live in.

It still has absolutely nothing to do with the thread though. Everyone should stop demonising and dehumanising everyone else... does that suffice?

Do we need to rattle off a list every time it's mentioned? Are you going to start mentioning the unfair treatment of immigrants in your threads about men's rights?

I would agree with what you say, if it weren't for the fact that the muslim imams tell other muslims NOT to integrate. NOT to follow British law etc.,
The only possible solution is to deport all radical imams. Close down all radical mosques and then MAYBE the moderate muslims would have a chance to integrate.

Your first sentence was incorrect. Your second paragraph is correct.

That almost sounds like justification. Terrorism is murder - there are no excuses - even if people feel alienated and frustrated.
If we go down that route then everyone who feels alienated, for whatever reason, would believe they had a right to annilate anyone who they believed had made them feel that way. Decent people don't resort to cold blooded murder.

Western governments shouldn't be excused from that statement either.
