BB18: this is horrendous

i know i'm being quite negative about this series but this is utterly horrendous. the series is dead. it literally had 2 good weeks out of 5 so far - the rest was pretty awful.

it's been boring for 10 days now and we still have at least 2 weeks left- and this week family and friends are entering :umm2:

BB18 is a far, far cry from the heights of BB17; the splendid casting, fantastic twists and intriguing interactions of last year are long gone.

Yeah it’s fine - it’s my 4th favourite (after BB7/5/3, and I haven’t watched 4/6/15 yet) but imo there’s nothing to dislike about it? There’s been a real mix of everything - arguments, showmances, fun, and he majority of the cast are entertaining and likeable.
Yes it’s been very calm in the last week but it’s made me warm to some HM’s, and tbf it’s starting to pick up again now. I’ve also grown up watching the C5 series first, so I’m used to and prefer their style of editing compared to most other people. If Chanelle/Raph/Hannah/Deborah/Isabelle win though, it will probably overtake BB3 as well

Yeah ever since Fight Night its not been very eventful. If it continues it may end up as one of the worst C5 series. It had a good first 2 or so weeks though. It'll never be as good as BB13/BB14/BB17 of the C5 saga but I don't want it to reach the levels of BB16/BB15.

I do hope future series of BB the people that select HMs stop putting in ex on the beach/love island etc types who have the morals of a skidmark.. bring back the normal people that are not fake from head to toe (eg fake tan false nails hair extensions etc)

Yeah this season's just a complete lame duck. The content we're getting is completely middle of the road -- some genuinely hilarious moments and quite a few snoozers, but it's just a complete sham bc it's clear how little production cares about this show and you can't help but notice with all the Ex on the Beach crossovers, the first batch of intruders looking like the most stereotypical things imaginable by appearance, the second batch of intruders literally just being the rejected HMs we've compiled along the way, etc. It just feels like it's all going to collapse at any minute, but the show's been somehow treading water just barely.

Putting in 4 new crappy HM,s has introduced outsider info and completely ruined the dynamics of the show. Its virtually killed off any chance Raph and Ellie had of winning and the drama now all seems scripted and expected which isnt as good as a real barny..

Sue gets up, insults someone, they flip, an argument breaks out, they go to bed......Boring as we all know whats going to happen and sue is a fake with the prods pushing her into arguments but the people she is arguling with are the no hopers. Push her at chanelle or Charlotte or even Hannah and give us a great barny. Going after men isnt that entertaining as thy cant do anything nasty to a woman but a cat fight would be very interesting.

its been a dreadful series. It may well appeal to a particular audience demographic, but that demographic doesn't include me, and by the current ratings, i'm not alone in that conclusion.

Numbers of viewers is what counts, people only view if they get something out of it. Loyalty to the brand only stretches so far before viewers are lost permanently, something C5 are finding out. If you put **** in, you get **** out.

I dont think it works with people who've not auditioned, its time to take it back to the raw basics it used to be ......Normal everyday people, no contact at all from the outside world and basic budget meaning just that ,nowadays basic still include luxury foods, lots of takeaways ,did you hear the list of drink Sam rattled off last night ? I've started watching BB14 and it's so much better I've kinda lost interest in the current series.

Housemates seem like normal people and not a bunch of chavs for a start.

The actor twist is interesting and the setup with powering the shower etc.

I like most of the housemates as well, wheras I can't stand the majority of the BB18 ones apart from a select few.
