Giving permission for your 10 year-old child to watch BB is bad enough but then insisting that your 5 year-old will be watching every single episode, including the one when she was talking about ''Poppers relaxing your asshole muscles'' is just demented.

Obviously never heard of the 9pm watershed, or maybe she's just too dumb to understand what it meant.

Dreadful mess. Pityful parent.

I'll be honest I started watching Big Brother at about 12 or 11. My mum started letting me watch the edited versions of BB10 and I loved the show and she eventually let me watch a live eviction (Angel went :() so I guess it is about maturity.

The 5 year old watching ìs crazy though. Won't pass comment on her parenting though but I wouldn't sit a 5 year old in front of BB.

different strokes for different folks but none of us reserve the right to stand in judgement, period, thats her business and the social services. calling someone an unfit parent is disgusting and not anyones concern. A 5 year old might recognise mummy on tv, but the content of her dialogue would be alien to her/him i would imagine. Lets stop judging when we know nothing of her home life.

Pretty sure the 5 year old won't be watching the 10pm show but isn't there a bleeped out version aired the following morning used to be at any rate, but even then he would be at school so I think it's all bluster on Simones part, they probably watch on catch up and fast forward the dodgy bits

so you admit to watching the likes of Kinga doing herself with the bottle at age 11 and you question Simones motives. BTW Ive never ever seen edited version of this show so wheres that coming from. BB is BB, there is no ceebeebees versions as far as i know.

im guessing that her kids are being looked after by a responsible adult, who will see to it that they are not corrupted, or maybe do you think all adults in the ne are chavs.

When i was 10 we didnt have tellies, we had lives outside and our parents let us in to feed us and then kicked us out again till bedtime. We had mates and a laptop was something we ate our diner off, called a tray these days. We basically parented ourselves, hence the odd views on parenting

To be fair, I don't think her five year old is watching every BB episode and every Bots episode religiously. Maybe watching a bit of the day version and someone pointing out 'Look, there's mummy'

It's not a big deal for a 10 year-old to watch BB, but I'm surprised at the 5 year old considering Simone has talked about pissing in a cup, and there's Chanelle and Elleh in general, and Charlotte (I remembered her yay!) talking about masturbation last week.

She didn't say the 5 year old would be watching, she did say the 10 year old. God love her though to see her Mam running around with bread in her arse.

never watch anything after the watershed - in bed and tucked up by 730pm every night.

remember we have the internet now a days - this means we hae no watershed as everything is available 247.

Yeah I used to watch at 10 years old, I watched the edited version before I went to school every morning but I was allowed to watch Live Eviction. Lik epreviously mentioned I think it's about maturity and I didn't know what any of it meant anyway :joker: When it moved to C5 I was allowed to watch live every day.

Shows just how little you actually know then 'oracle' they showed an early morning BB for years, with anything sweary edited out or bleeped out. Pretty sure a quick google search would provide proof of that.

Also I clearly said I watched from BB10 which came after Kinga shoved a bottle up her vag. That was BB6. :pat:

They still do the edited version on some days at 12pm but then other days it's 3am and unedited.

Let him watch bb after the watershed when he was a child..just like simone does with hers.

It's about maturity though. Raph seems pretty mature and so if I was his parent I'd have no problem. Same as mine, and some of my firiends parents doing the same.

Also I don't see the complaints when parents let young children watch IAC after the watershed, and while not as crude or adult as BB it's still on at 9 for a reason.

I was never restricted in what I could watch as a kid, I don't think it's a sign of bad parenting. I knew the scary stuff wasn't real, that the violence was never to be replicated and others behaviors weren't to be repeated.

For me this is what its about. My mum let me watch horrors from a young age but I knew it was all acting and fake blood, if your kid is mature enough to handle it I think why not.

A 5 year old watching is a little bit dodgy though

I don't know why people took that comment so seriously. I think she said it mostly just to guilt trip Chanelle rather than being literal.

I see it different..i would let a 5 yr old watch cause they probably think poppers relaxing your arsehole is a wet fart...13 yr olds know more and should be protected more.

I would imagine if her kids really are watching they would be watching the daytime repeat that is clean. I cant really complain i started watching big b when i was 11. I just didnt understand anything they were saying.

In the early days there was nothing wrong with kids watching it but jesus above kids watching THIS SERIES with the absolutely disgusting language and talks of sexual exploits I don't know who in their right mind would allow their kids watch it. The last few years Marcus has to give a warning before every single section. Im sure her kids miss her but watching her on such an ADULT programme is ridiculous. Sorry but that's how I feel

I have a 13 year old and he's not allowed watch. The odd time he'll sit with me on eviction night for a few minutes because it's usually tamer while they're doing the live show or if it's during a task or something

I know some parents who only allow their children to watch the daytime version rather than the after 9pm stuff so it is possible that Simone does allow her kids to watch all episodes but without the swearing etc and that, I believe, is a responsible parent.

I have to be honest the idea of anyone under 10 watching BB scares me.. what on earth are parents thinkng? are they the same parents that would buy a kid a computer with unrestricted internet access and allow them to do as they want without supervision ??

Parents should be parents (not best friends) protect them from certain things and let kids be kids not let them grow up too quickly watching/listening to hearing things which are inappropriate for their age teach them right from wrong and what is acceptable and what is not BB for under 10s NOT suitable in anyway shape or form

I know kids will learn swear words and things in school but they need to know its not accapetable or 'ok' to swear in general - same with gaming .. just because all of a kids friends are playing GTA doesn't mean I would let a kid anywhere near an 18 game that encourages violence and bad language and how to kick someones butt (putting it politely) you allow a kid to do what they want watch what they want at such and early age is that what they think is 'normal' kids need rules and guidance not freedom to become corrupted and the asbo's of tomorrow
