I really don't get what Charlotte was complaining about. If I heard someone saying I've grown a pair, I'd be elated. Isn't saying that someone's 'grown a pair' implying that they've come out of their shell and become braver? Granted anyone can take things how they want to from a comment like that, but still what's remotely bad about it idgi

In her head she was presumably panicking that she was being portrayed as boring or weak-willed. It's not the worst of insults obviously but it does imply that she was weak before the incident.

"Growing a set of balls" isn't bad in itself, it's what she said afterwards that was the problem.

"She's grown a set of balls...and they need chopping off".

Wasn't it the "we need to cut them off" that was the offensive part?

Surely someone saying that a woman's "balls" need to be cut off is nothing more than a passing joke, I thought(?)

I think she was more bothered about the fact Chanelle said "they need chopping off" then her saying she has grown a pair of balls.

"Grown a pair of balls and they need chopping off" is implying she's grown too big for her boots/is arrogant.

So, no, not a compliment.

Chanelle's comment was rough, but I remember her being worse to Sukhvinder and Kayleigh than to Charlotte.

Also how will Charlotte feel about what the public think of her? We hardly know that she's even in there.:joker:

IT was bitchy and nasty...and she meant it to be so.

It was the chopping them off bit that hurt.

Of course it was meant in a nasty way  Just the grown a pair on its own, no. What followed made it clearly nasty and I genuinely cannot understand anyone thinking otherwise D:

Chanelle said it in a spiteful bitchy way behind Charlottes back. Mandy of course said it to her. If I were Mandy I wouldn't have wasted time trying to stir the pot but I do understand why Charlotte was mad at Chanelle

"Someone's grown a pair that need chopping off"

Translated, that means:

Someone has found their voice and they need to be SHUT DOWN !!

Who the hell does Chanelle think she is to say that someone needs shutting down?

You look at the way Chanelle acted after the pageant, by stealing Deborah's crown 'for a joke' and then wearing it round the house ever since, you can see she clearly has a Queen Bee sense of entitlement. This is a self-confessed bitch already on two warnings for aggression.

I'm not fooled by the 'wacky diva' persona.
