View Full Version : Does anyone else who LOVED Chanelle find themselves going off her?
I adored this chick from a few days in for most of the series so far. Yet recently I've been finding her more miserable, confrontational, annoying and entitled. I am really struggling to keep liking her as much as I did. I feel she's changed, and I am stunned that I am actually considering that I'd prefer her to go over Sue :worry:
Anyone relate?

Me, shes getting worse. While most other HM's are getting better.
Really wouldn't be shocked if she tops the vote and overtakes Simone.

she's been kinda annoying the last few days and I would much rather Simone stayed over her

She's dropped down a lot in my rankings this week, I'd still be fine with her winning but from the "Outsiders" she's probably at the bottom of them for me, and I'd have Sue and Simone above her as well after this week.

No, she's done some iffy things but she's still top 2 for me

Last week she went down but she climbed back up babes but I'd prefer Issy or Deborah.

Sue and Simone are far superior housemates
I do think it would make for a much more interesting result if she went. In the same way as Teesh going in BB17 did.

She's not a housemate I like,I love her friendship with Raph though.
However yes,I have cooled towards her as the series moves on.

Yeah, she's certainly not as funny as she was and seems to be a lot more nasty with her comments
I mean I still like her, just not as much as some of the others

Yep. She was my winner pick and i was really behind her up until a few days ago. I still like her, but I kind of want her to go over one of Sue/Simone just because of how things are turning out.

She's my 4th Fave, behind the other 3 that are up
But Simome and Sue can't win so I'd rather Chanelle stays
She was my fave to win for weeks 1-4/5 though and recently she's dipped

Still like her but I prefer Issy and Deborah because I find them more genuine and endearing.

Towards the very beginning I didn't mind her at times or even kinda liked her at times but ever since then her annoyance levels have continued to grow. I used to maybe think she was more annoying in like 2 out of 3 episodes and then quite likable/amusing in the other one of the three but now she's just always consistently pretty annoying. The nice relationship with Raph probably helped but now she's just too annoying for me to even appreciate that. :joker:

I need to catch up on the last 2 episodes though. Not sure if that changes anything (probably just gotten more annoying if this thread is being made lol).

. Yet recently I've been finding her more miserable, confrontational, annoying and entitled.
I agree with this, however she doesnt have much competition, shes still in my top three despite me thinking this way recently.

A week or so back i loved Chanelle and was rooting for her to win. Now ive gone right of her. We have really seen just how nasty she can be this week and shes been shown to look like a really 2 faced person. Its like Sue said in tonight show in regards to the last part of the hunt, there was only 1 person in that room that was in charge of making the decision and no one elses opinions would count for something. The more i think back to how she has behaved over the series the more i start to realise she isnt that nice. I didnt see it at the time but i can see it now. shes got a super nasty streak and doesnt like to be in the wrong. Shes too defensive and hypocritical in regards to the way she speaks to people when theres a heated discussion. The charlotte conversation in the kitchen for example.

I did like her the 1st couple days but went right off her, I thinks
She got a right bitter & nasty streak about her, I also think she won't take responsibility when she in the wrong making out she's always the victim in a argument.

She's dropped from being my favourite to my 3rd. Don't exactly know why but like you said, a lot of things are contributing to her not being so nice lately (while Deborah & Isabelle have came across amazing which is the main reason they're my favourites now)
Although her being evicted would be much more dramatic and better TV, because the others can't win I'd rather Chanelle stayed because I'd still be happy with her winning

I kinda liked her for the first week or two but SHE IS THE MOST VILE housemate in there now and thats saying something. It would be BRILLIANT if she was voted out this week as it would SHOCK the whole house

You have hit the nail on the head with entitlement..Sue and Simone have sapped her airtime. Once they have gone she will be back to the Alpha female role with her 'breath in positivity and breath out negativity' preaching crap.

That would be brilliant..I've thrown some votes her way...but unfortunately I don't think it's gonna happen. :wavey:

Still my fave
The people who are turning on her probably didn't really like her that much in the beginning, because she hasn't changed.

To me, she's like Gina - a good character which I love having on the show, but could never fully support her.

i can never really support her as my first fave, how she can impress me, if she shows her mature side, and just solves her problem with Charlotte on a mature way instead of wanting revenge, i know she's got a mature side that we might like even more hidden somewhere
and she should also understand that Charlotte is also playing a game, just opening up now more, nothing personal, she had to nominate someone in the hunt, and she has no real problems with anyone else, so that incident was brought up as her only reason to nominate
Channy please impress me, cause i like bits of you

I don't think she's being real anymore. I preferred when she was standing up to the bullies.
Also she can't admit when she's wrong.

I still love her but I wouldn't be that surprised or that bothered if she got evicted. She's given all she can give and it would make Issy's chances of winning rise.

I agree with OP
I have gone from loving her to not really liking her now.
The moment it switched for me was the way she was over Kayleigh. I never really liked Kayleigh but Chanelle totally started that, she kept pushing Kayleigh verbally, Then Chanelle got physical and smashed Kayleigh's drink so aggressively, it was properly nasty.
Then she kept on shouting, saying i'll kill her! or whatever. That was her 2nd warning and she's lucky to still be there considering she started it and considering how Kayleigh got evicted for acting in the same way.
I never really liked Chanelle from seeing her nasty side in that argument.
Since then i see how sly she is. Always bitching about people but dressing it up as a laugh. But whenever anyone does the same about her, she takes it very seriously, either argues, cries or seeths revenge.
Chanelle doesn't like other people who act like Chanelle. She wants to be queen: one rule for her, one for the others.

I would've said I'd have been happy for Chanelle/Raph to win up until last week.
But Deborah has grown on me LOADS and knocked Raph and Chanelle right down my estimations.

Yes, going off Chanelle, her last-chance #ManchesterGhandi persona isn't making it a more thrilling experience. Manchester is an angry city, or more diplomatically passionate. For some reason, it means making a turn towards the very boring Charlotte - but why? Is it because Charlotte has intelligent wit and a hot mum?
