Like this years theme has been awful, timebomb was awful, power trip was okay looking back.

I find when there's a heavy theme it becomes quite stale unless it's really well done? Watching a show like Love Island it always seems refreshing.

Perhaps a format change is what it needs, it could be interesting.

I think the show needs modernising, for example the house this year looks awful and dated on TV, if there trying to appeal to a younger audience then the whole theme/concept/look of this years really probs wouldn't interest young people.

Do you mean you'd rather have a sleek design that fits no particular theme than a house like this year's which was designed as a Disney village?

It's good with a theme as long as they use the theme properly

I think if they had done more games d focus on fun the show will be the best village in the world.

Yeah it's probably the editing as well.

I wouldn't care that much about the house if the tasks and show itself were planned better.

It's not so much the house it's more that the show seems stale. I think a format change and far better tasks is the way forward.

I feel they should just take the gamble and adopt the US format, like you said it's becoming stale. The format change could potentially bring in a whole new audience.

Yeah I think it's the format which is making it stale, so the BBUS theme would be interesting.

Last year didn't have much of a theme and had quite a regular modern house, that series done well

I think a years break with no Big Brother and a massive relaunch is what it needs.

Save a whole one years budget and put everything into the relaunch

Yeah last years was really good, the theme wasn't in your face and it worked well.

The only theme which worked really well and remained interesting was Secrets and Lies, it didn't get stale.

The fake eviction with Gina and Dexter was iconic.

The problem is that BB is trying WAY to hard to be young and trendy and attract a young audience, when that's just not what it can get. After one year, love island has out rated the last however many series of BB in the 16-34 year old age category. Like half of last years islanders are mor popular than ANY BBUK housemate ever has been on social media etc because that's their audience. BB will never get that, and that's why they need to stay away from it and differentiate themselves to be the more mature show. Trying to make CBB look like Love Island is already stupid. BB has mor potential, but not if it tries to be what it's not. It's simple really
