I've interacted with Raph on here for years, with the footie game we both get involved in and generally across the board.
However there are people who have come to see Raph and learn how decent he is from being a housemate too.

They will, some at any rate, will want to congratulate him on being on BB and likely want to befriend him on Tibb if and when he returns.

Raph I am sure will return the same friendly,decent helpful guy he was before.
It's just a pity that criticism of him as a housemate has often turned into aspersions of integrity and really personal insults that have been subtlety supported on here.

He will ride above that but in my view,it's wrong there'll be a need to and that nastiness just being accepted.
I hope he ignores the load of it and never rises to it.

Yep, in my experiences with him on here I've found him to be pretty much exactly how he's been in the house, so if he's fake he's fake all his time in the house and all the time he spends posting on TiBB, that seems like a lot of hard work to me :laugh:

Yep, in my experiences with him on here I've found him to be pretty much exactly how he's been in the house, so if he's fake he's fake all his time in the house and all the time he spends posting on TiBB, that seems like a lot of hard work to me :laugh:

I havent had much granted but from the little I have his persona in the house is not all that different than his presence on here

However I have over the years been more aware of forum members that often see the same perspective as I do. Also I often seem drawn to straight to the point comments that make me chuckle wether or not I agree with them.
I recall seeing Raph on here a lot...but cannot say that his comments have had any impact on me.
One thing I can say is I have missed Livia this year...hope she's ok. She has to be one of the best one liners ever..and great dry humour.

How would you possibly know by someone's participation on a forum if they are being fake or not?
Watching someone for weeks, interacting with people, watching their responses and listening to their views and comments exposes their character. Some will see it as fake and others will see it as genuine...

I feel like he probably won't come back to be honest. I think he'll make post thanking everyone for their support but say that he'll be staying off Tibb, at least until all the hype dies down. Especially if he wins as then dynamics could change and interactions with people won't be the same as the were. I can't say as I don't know him personally and I've never spoken to him on here, it's just a hunch I have. Could be completely wrong.

...although Raph won't get any 'special treatment' as such...I do think it would be nice and appropriate for maybe Admin to consider a special award in his profile...we are a Big Brother forum and he's the first of our own../our 'family' to have been a housemate...and he's done the forum proud....

There is a ridiculous amount of hate every year. I think people are only noticing it more this year because of Raph tbh. There are always a few members who are very OTT in their hatred, and generally nearly all males have a large amount of hatred poured on them from launch night, especially half decent looking males who are written off as 'the winner' from their VT and spammed about since then, whilst not actually doing much wrong.

Forums are weird places :D
