I cant see any reason why bb would care who wins. Its not like they have a reputation to uphold. The illogical fake eviction twist that production knew would put Kieran/Tom/Hannah safe was the closest they got to protecting anybody. But even then, I cant imagine they done it for that reason...

I think they care to a point..some winners would get them more publicity and that than others and are more likely to do stupid little spinoff shows thus keeping revenue coming in

I disagree, I really dont think they've cared ever.. the winner will be the one with the most paying fans, and I just presume theyre more than happy with that.

Saying thay, i do believe they've heavily manipulated nomination rules and vote freezes in the past to get people out.. but the final week has always seemed like fair game to me personally.

Hmm the last they clearly edited in a way for someone to win was helen, sticking her in a secret room, making ashleigh the bitchy one, showing helen being remorseful in the final weeks

they don't care who wins, they just engineer the biggest voting frenzy that they can to maximise their revenue. Its in their interests to make a hm look hard done by, if it increases those that would vote etc etc

I think Ellie was the chosen one. They showed Chanelle negatively all series. Ellie got a very positive edit and she must have been shown in the diary room every single episode and multiple times.

I'd argue the 2nd chancers were sent in partly for a Smellie showmance.
