Can you even picture it ? theres no way Snake boy will stay friends with Chan on the outside..... Invite her for Sunday dinner, she turns up with the tits on show, swearing and talking filth and farting in from of Mum and Dad

After dinner meet his uni mates for a pint ( water in snake boys case ,he can't handle beer ) and take her along

Naah its not going to happen ,as I said early days Snake boy tagged onto her thinking she had won, hence the massive shock to his system when he realised he had backed the wrong person (damn) He used her for his own ends and it backfired big time :joker:

They've already planned trips to Toronto and Manchester. I suspect they will see each others families etc.

I don't believe Raph is as overtly judgmental of people, as some others.

Lets face it ANYONE is a snob against Chanelle unless you are the same.I can't see his parents liking it either he seems to have been brought up quite well ,they might meet up on their own a couple of times but it will fade especially when he is told and sees stuff for himself. His face when Rebecca called him silly and when Chanelle was calling Rebecca a ***** and a slag, was a bit shocked,so no,I don't think his parents would be welcoming,

Hopefully when they meet each other's friends and families they will behave with decorum, how you present yourself in a normal surrounding could be as far away from the 'reality' of the BB house as you could ever imagine.
Any loving parent would greet their children's friends without judging them.

I agree, I can't see his family being so welcoming after everything she's done on BB. I dread to think of the conversation around the dinner table. Her talking about fanny farts and pissing herself whilst bellowing away like the jolly green giant as his parents sit bemused will be a sight to see.

But apart from Charlotte nobody else gave him intellectual conversation....if that's not snobbery what is?
There's just no way these two will work outside the house. Raph will return to his computer and Chanelle will be looking for her next reality show...and it won't be IACGMOOH...OR LI...because they have better taste and better standards.

When someone complains that no one in the house can give him intellectual conversation...it's actual snobbery.

He probably will and I'm sure they'll love her for being a friend to their son and supporting him through a challenging experience!

He's coming to stay with her in Manchester for a while and they're going to Toronto together also!

My mistake - she wasn't considered for Love Island, she herself considered going on Love Island before getting a boyfriend and deciding to do Big Brother instead. I remember her saying on Twitter now a few days after her Ex on the Beach stint aired that she was considering either Love Island, Big Brother or another series of Ex on the Beach because people were demanding to see her on TV again.

He said it in the DR after Imran and Sukhvinder left, because he loved having deep conversations with them and felt he couldn't with the remaining housemates.

But that was week 2.

if he tried he could have more deep conversations with Charlotte, also on the same level as he speaking of intelligence

so much missed opportunities and potential there :(

So now it's snobbery to look around you and realise that you can't have meaningful conversations with some people because they just aren't capable of holding one.:laugh:
It's honesty, not snobbery.
You only have to watch it to realise how thick some of them are.

Stated as a fact without malice is not snobbery...saying it whilst looking down your nose like Charlotte did is.

They are an unlikely duo but I know of stranger friendships. Plus they are both adults and im sure their parents realise that long gone are the days when they can choose their friends. Raph has probably met similar people at uni too....he's well travelled independently and am sure more than capable of mixing with people from all backgrounds

Littlegreen
27-07-2017, 05:34 PM
You'd think these people that apparently don't like a housemate would have grown tired of trying to pull them down, and instead tried to push for somebody they actually like? It's a more productive and easier way of life surely?

This whole series it's been baffling to see the lengths some have gone to and the names they've come out with for people on a TV show.

Just because a person comes from an educated background does not mean they will only frequent in those type of circles, Raph likes intellectual conversation - yes, but he's bound to like silly conversation and fun too!

Don't patronise me.

A debate requires you to be a little more flexible in your opinions rather than saying "this is the answer" and insulting and patronising anyone who dare disagrees. Reading through this thread and several similar threads, your approach to arguments appears to go way beyond "debate".

And stop telling people to "stay on topic" and "don't make it personal" when you're doing the complete opposite.
