Big Brother is secured until 2018. I presume they could always just... not do BB19, but I'm sure they've said they wouldn't do on without the other

Yes - it's the final civilian series in the current contract. It'd cost Channel 5 more to buy themselves out of the contract than to actually air the series.

I don't think I'd mind 1 - maybe 2. But if you have a full cast it's just a bit ridiculous. Like having 3 EOTB in one series, when we've had EOTB in CBB. However this has been one of the best series IMO so I shouldn't really complain.

I prefer complete strangers coming together like a social experiment, such as Raph, Imran, Chalotte etc

Just because they have a contract to show the series until next year doesn't mean they have to, look at canada or australia for example.

The cast this series, and the tasks etc have all been dire, so I won't be watching if its the same again. Others can make their own minds up

I would have to ham it up on my vt probably to seem interesting enough though. Could try the gameplayer character like raph, then get in the house and just be normal.

I think so, i have hope for big brother. Its a good show to axe it would be silly. Now C5 have their love island like tv show i am hoping we get our big brother back.

There probably will be another series, ratings may have fallen a bit but I'll bet they are still higher than most of the carp on C5. What annoys me the most are the arrogant ex-fans who pop up every year without fail with the message, "I don't like it anymore so it needs to come off the air." Why not just watch Love Island or something else then???
