I've always wanted to do it ever since BB6 but i keep backing out on auditioning when i was old enough because i'm not really that confident  but i was so confident this year but my friend backed out </3 but i actually want to try it next year (if there's bb next year and i know it's going to be hard because i have no tv experience)

Do it! I think it's worth a try. :hee:

Never really wanted to go in the house - there is too much criticism for me to deal with and some comments can be quite nasty, I don't think I would cope very well reading these

I'd never do it, I know for a fact I would be hated

You should though!

Obviously I'd love to, but I wouldn't in case it affected my career or life afterwards.

Luke, you better apply next year

You might as well just apply now if you want to do it like at the end of the day BB is on it's way out and next year could be the last series so

Always wanted to do it, everyone says I would either win or be evicted as soon as I'm up :skull:

I'll apply if you can apply at 17 (cos I'll be 18 when it starts most likely)

Mystic Mock

I would've done it if there was Live Feed, but you're too much at the mercy of the production to even get shown on the highlights and could get tagged as "boring" because of it, which sadly happened to all of the final four this series at different points just because they wasn't Showmancing or arguing 24/7.

If I was to ever go in the house though I'd show my real self in the Diary Room, and wind up the Housemates in the house, that would be my plan A anyway.:joker:

Once upon a time i'd have loved to (early c5/c4 days) but i could never do it now. I dislike a majority of the housemates C5 pick and wouldn't be able to handle all the drama driven tasks and things they do to cause tension and arguments

I'd never get put in, I'm too boring :joker:

Besides, I want to be a primary school teacher when I'm older so that's not something I'd want coming up a few years down the line :skull:

Once you do that you'll realise every fear you have is worst case scenario and you'll feel a lot better conquering your fears. Then you should have the confidence to apply and have a go - keeop thinking, this could be your last chance, and we'd all support you so much (even when I get banned for rowing with a member or two  )

Tbh the state of big brother is what puts me off... if it was more like the C4 (or even BB13-14) days I'd consider applying. But with the inconsistencies in how the show works now I wouldn't try out.

But still Raph's speech at the end was cute and its nice to see such a big fan get on

I would've done it a few years back, but now I'm just not confident enough.

I'd encourage others too though it seems like you learn a lot and it's a one-off experience.

I think they should have a prize for each finalist though. Seems a lot to go through for a very slim chance of winning any money.

I know it's really about the experience but these days it seems like most of the housemates will be forgotten about in a few days time.

I always said I'd apply if I was able to be in with someone at least knew of.
Always joked about being in same time as Mock if he applied.

We'd likely drive any house mad.
I doubt I'd last long though to be honest.

I would apply but the ridiculous editing puts me off. They can make you out to be a totally different person, or they can edit you out totally earning you the bore tag.

Also I feel my temper would possibly get me ejected

Out of interest is it public voted or Housemate voted who wins on your local BB series?

If anything, I think I stand a better chance of winning BBUK as I'll probably be sort of a Raph (or just a nice bore who gets a backdoor eviction these days). BBIL is the same format as BBUK, but the Israeli public are mostly amused by loud and controversial housemates...

I wouldn't apply anyway because

1) Major dirt on me :worry:
2) Would come across awfully with clean-freakness and general snobbery

But in the context of this thread, I'd be less inclined to apply now having seen a friend go through it  it's hell.

But I do think some of the silly hate directed at some HMs this series, I would brush off as nonsense if it was about me. For all of the complaints I've filed about OTT hate I do think if I was a housemate and came back on here, I'd just be like "meh. hateful bastards."

Arguments (childhood personal reasons) and the crowd are quite off putting but saying that it could actually help me in a way with getting over being uncomfortable over arguments and confidence etc. I have to lie on my vt too and make me sound like a good housemate :skull: (but i won't even mention i'm friends with raph because i'm not like that and it won't even help me)

If the dirt was revealed early on I think you will be fine, flashback to when they were a big issue with Raph cheating, which happened years ago but people got over that and look at him now second place.

There would be arguments but if you'd do the same as Raph, Isabelle or Deborah and not get too involved, you'd be fine. I don't think you'd have to lie much since you're a very likeable character anyway. But just a part of the game anyway

I'm going to interrogate the **** out of Raph about the audition process and the talk of doom.

I don't think the talk of doom exists anymore. I'm sure a few C5 housemates have said so.

You a great person Luke, don't you worry about the first part, and especially about the second part. It would be really fine, I guarantee. Do it sharp and quick and it would be all gone in a matter of hours/days. Don't drag it and hurt yourself

It just wouldn't be in my nature to ever want to go on TV for 2 minutes let alone 7+ weeks but i have nothing but respect for anyone who does, especially people who aren't overly confident and naturally outgoing types.:clap2:

You're so loved on here and no doubt the public will lovr you too!

I'll get 3 jobs so I'll have enough money to vote to save you/bribe BB to give you contact to your family (but with the way things are going BB might only last 2 or 3 weeks so I doubt people will evict you for getting a bit homesick so close to the final)

I wonder what Chanelle, Nicola, and Aisleyne would tweet about you :joker:
