Thank god we have Danan and Chad in there to clean up the ratings mess that girl made

This is irony since Savannah and Sam were both MAJOR flops

Amazing what a difference taking down the very hated alpha of the house will do tbh

I know people argue that Isabelle would have won without the Lotan thing, but I really doubt it as that was a major turning point and when most started liking her.

Also, I kind of think Lotan would have snapped and shown that side of himself with or without Isabelle..she just sped it up a bit.

I remember how much I thought I would dislike her on first impressions though, and how fun I thought Savannah would be :umm2:

I was the same, and to be honest the moment I fell in love with Issy was when she was alone and defended someone against Lotan and his friends. Ioved her from that moment on :flutter:
I think her dancing task and selflessness would've got her to the final anyway, and she would've avoided Savannah's eviction since Fight Night wouldn't have out everyone up and no one would've nommed the new sweet girl, surely. But she gained a lot of support due to the Lotan fiasco which definitely got her the win

I wonder if Lotan's ejection took place ten days later. Would Ellie have gotten tired of him now she had Sam and fought back at him? Would Chanelle have calmed down and took.him down, giving her the winner's vote? Could Sue have, giving her the 2nd chance win?

As you say, Issy gained a lot of support for her v Lotan, and no doubt that got her the win. God knows who would've won if the time or person against him changed

The redemption arc for her is honestly one of my favourite storylines in BB history. Neither the public nor the housemates themselves thought she should be picked, and she was only chosen because Lotan thought she wouldn't be a threat and couldn't stand another lad threatening his place in the house

Also it was when she began defending her friends against the cool gang and started standing up to Lotan that she won the hearts of her core fanbase. There was a serious amount of buzz after that episode where she was stood in the kitchen and the Clique surrounded her, and she never once backed down or buckled under the pressure of being outnumbered. She was literally the archetype of the type of housemate that many of us love and it comes as no surprise that she managed to build herself a loyal following after this. However this support was really most prominent on the forums and on Twitter, whereas on FB she was being called vile by many and we nearly lost her the week after in the VTE. It was definitely her selfless acts and tendency to remain calm and level-headed even in the craziest moments that won the general public round. I definitely think the moment where she gave up family time, followed by putting herself up for nomination, solidified her win
