CBB11 Launch Episode

WHO is this male host :skull: He seems familiar though but I can't put my finger on it... is he still on the show but in another role now? Is that the guy that cuts to the BOTS preview? Also isn't Rylan actually the guy who does BOTS now? :joker:

Decent twist @ only half the cast going in the house and half going into the basement.

Ryan Maloney seems kinda fun/funny... the rest of the first 6 actually do seem like snoozes to me already :joker:

Sam/Lacey is a step up from the others. Loving Lacey :love: (Sam as well :clap1:)

As a whole, I'm preferring the trio in the basement over the trio in the house so far.

Razor's best quality is he's magnificent in the sack :skull: and then also "Razor proclaims he's really sharp between the sheets" for the fun facts thing. :joker:

Eh, both Claire and possibly Razor seem pretty good as well. Unsure but they seem more on the entertaining side. The cast is looking better now as more are revealed. And still no Speidi... saving the best for last? :fan:

lol Brian was a two-time housemate in the C4 days, one of the show's most iconic. They gave him the gig after the show moved and Davina (the original host) wasn't interested

Emma originally hosted BOTS, then they sacked him and gave her the main show job and Rylan took over (part time at first but within two years full time) BOTS months after CBB11

Celebrity Big Speidi would've been one of the worst series of reality TV ever if it weren't for them, I'm glad you're getting to experience it but honestly the thought of it without them isn't worth thinking about, the rest of the cast bar like Rylan and Paula are SO painfully devoid of any personality it's a joke

Eh not much this episode. Friendly house atm despite the house/basement house divide.. but there seems to be some tension though (mainly between Rylan & Speidi).

Maybe another episode before I do my first ranking. I literally don't know which ones are Claire/Trish/Gillian... kinda funny that Spencer kept repeating their 3 names specifically when he was trying to remember names to faces during Lacey's cast introductions. :joker:

I'm not even getting everything that Gillian is saying in this bath convo with Tricia & Claire but her facial expressions and her way of talking alone makes her seem like a howl.

Sam going is a shame as well although it's not like he was bringing much, he just seemed nice and likable enough. He did seem to have a bit more personality & more upbeat than others in there but sort of another bore among bores tbf :laugh:

It's like they see everyone being out to get them - which people kind of are but it's from their own doing of isolating themselves and things like that. But they're not really nasty in the way they act, making it so fun and rootable to watch imo. :clap1:

Ok so CBB11 is boring the crap out of me (atm it's still possibly better than CBB 20 & 21 but still not something I'm looking to binge watch right now). How are Speidi better in this season than in CBB19 (unless it's later on)? I'm liking them but they were more iconic in 19.

If you're still sticking with CBB then start CBB15 (which you should've done in the first place) as that series has a pretty stellar cast, both in terms of names and entertainment, and although it gets a bit draining in the second half, I think you'd really enjoy it. Plus the first week is amazing and it's probably the peak of C5 BB.

Ideally though, I'd go back to BB5 and finish that off as it gets really good from Week 2 and then follow up with BB6 and BB7 in that order as those series are the trifecta of BBUK.

So I know I'm late to the party but Speidi *sucked* in CB11 :3 Like, the biggest issue was that the show wanted to portray them and they wanted to portray themselves as scheming, calculating, Machiavellian villains but all they did was refuse to participate in tasks and sit in the corner and refuse to socialize with people. That is... not Machiavellian at all!

BB5 felt like it had a lot of filler in the beginning in terms of both cast & storyline. It was mainly the Victor show for me with a few others adding to it a bit.

BB6's cast is far superior so far. They're almost all unique and add something whether I'm loving them or not. I'll say this though, I prefer Victor over any of this cast atm but there's a lot of great characters to enjoy in BB6 which is better than just one or a few big characters.

So BB6 for better cast & season

(I'm sure they might become bigger characters later in BB5 and maybe BB6's cast continues to get even better as well; this is just from what I've seen)

She's responsible for her own behaviour. You can't criticise certain people involved because you don't like them to begin with and absolve another because you do.

But it's not really on the same level as running around guffawing at him being ganged up on and actively egging the situation on to get nastier.

What are u talking about? Pete never got involved at all in the bullying. Sure he left the room just like everyone except for George but not once did he bully shahbaz. In fact, he was the only one that showed sympathy, regret and guilt for the way shahbaz was treated and was the only person who cried for him in the diary room.

I'm loving how Roberto & Kemal get in arguments practically every episode :joker:

This episode featured Saskia more (with her secret mission) and she seems likable but I still feel she's not the most relevant or biggest personality. A bit just "there" compared to a lot of the others. :think:

Makosi giving Science a striptease / lap dance and meanwhile Kemal/Roberto are resolving their issues (or arguing again lol). I like how it goes back and forth between these two polar opposite type of scenes.

Kemal: "Today was the last straw, bang out of order" "You have A LOT to learn" "You will not get me, I'm too strong for you to get me"

I like it, even love it, but there's no way I'm getting through 80 episodes. The reason it's easier for me with CBB is because once I get to the 20 day mark I'm usually ready for a new season but since I'm already close to finished I'm able to force myself through it very easily. :laugh:
