Emmerdale: Hugely Overrated

Emmerdale is extremely overrated nowadays.

They have numerous kidnappings and drug deals and so ever but people criticise Hollyoaks for having them.

Overrated.

Sorry but there hasn't been a kidnap or a drug deal for a very long time and they continue to deliver unique storylines. The best soap out there atm

Coronation Street is the overrated soap, it's boring and it gets top ratings when Emmerdale deserve to be top soap.

Never watched it myself but all I hear is praise. Have watched CS and EE from being about six and have watched HO semi-regularly between 2008 and now (although I used to watch it every night between 2013-14)

I've tried to get into it but I think it's hard when you don't really know the characters or their previous storylines/relationships etc.

Emmerdale is genuinely the only soap I can say I enjoy. The rest are either too miserable or too OTT.

EastEnders this week has been diabolical.

Emmerdale is the only one worth watching. Definitely the best one by a huge gap.
